My first movie will be about lesbians about to graduate form high school. I'm pretty sure I will get criticized for making a movie about gay teenagers, but I am only starting off that way because most celerities start their career off by playing younger characters and then they play older characters as they get older. Then as I get older, thet characters in my films will get older. It makes more sense anyway. But is my movie about gay teenagers any different than a straight moviemaker's film about teenage love between a boy and a girl?

For example, I have older straight friends and family members who say "It must be so hard to be gay" or "I support you but it must be so difficult to be a member of a 'community' where the rest of the world hates you". Maybe I live in a bubble but I have not yet experienced discrimination, have never been the victim of a hate crime, etc. My feeling is that people either like me or they don't. Half the time I forget that I am gay. It is so odd to me that straight people think that they know anything about gay life. We certainly don't have a community and being gay is fine by me.

Men of every race, not necessarily ALL, but you can see men of just about every persuasion, don't have a problem with dating women that are fair-skinned, light colored hair, and have light colored or blue eyes? Has that been programmed into men's mind?.. a woman who falls into that category as opposed to someone of a darker complexion, dark eyes, hair, etc. is considered desireable? I guess what I'm trying to say is are most men, not just Black men, color-struck?

It is my guess that due to the fact that Sigmund Freud was Jewish the country of Pakistan along with some other Muslim countries must have a lower proportion of psychiatrists and therefore fewer people diagnosed as having a "mental disorder". (LOL)

It seems that Muslims are far less inclined to acknowledge certain mental states as diseases and are thus far less likely to have kids on Ritalin or medication for "issues". They may be less likely to have nice men and women talking "nicely" to them in the capacity of psychologist. I am only making these assessments on the basis of my personal observations.

How does the official or "diagnosed" state of mental health differ between the Pakistanis and North Americans?

I am just curious.

Does anyone know from personal experience or know any sites that give information on what schools were like for children growing up during the Cold War Era? Was learning more accelerated than American schools today? In particular, do you know any information on music schools and the methods taught? I've already tried Wikipedia, but I didn't find the information I was looking for. Best answer receives 10 points, but if you have no idea how to answer this, please don't answer.
