early in august, my family and i moved across country. being distanced from my gf is really hard. i'm so used to sharing my day with her that i just don't know what to do now that we're not together. i try to do things to keep me busy but she's always there, in my head and heart. i love her. god, do i love her and next week's our first month-anniversary that we don't spend together. how can i make the anniversary special for her yet not raising suspesions up on my parent's side (they don't know about my sexual prefrence)

i guess this is a hard question, which is why you only got 1 answer! which was a pretty darn good suggestion dragonfly! i agree. mail her something. it doesnt have to be flowers, though. if you want to be different mail her something off of amazon.com. or go to Borders and pick out something they can ship right from the store. but the phone idea is awesome too. i like that one.
good luck! & happy anniversary!

Make her a long well-detailed letter of why you love her. And not that kind where u email it coz that's easy. Buy nice stationery/envelope and a black pen (black is usually very formal) and then just pour out whatever is in your heart in the letter. Then mail it to her, yes, via snail mail. ;o) It takes a lot of time and effort in making a letter and this will definitely be not as pricey as flowers... of course, flowers are good too.. You can send her that and mail the love letter as well.

Or maybe if u do want to send her flowers.. u can always send her a picture of a rose or her favorite flower/s, then write to her that real flowers die but this picture of (let's say, a rose) won't, just like my love for you... Heheh... You know something like that....

Really sorry you and your g/f are apart... but just be strong and keep the communication going coz that's important. Hope you'll have a happy one-month, even if you're apart. ;o)

Send her flowers. 1-800-flowers is awesome. My SO and I live apart, but not across country, fortunately we talk on the phone alot. If she's online, too, you can email her a card as well. Or,if you've got the money, send her a go phone,so you and her can communicate privately, you can get one for $50 or so at Walmart or elsewhere.

You could drive or fly to see her. If you can't do that then get on a bus. That would be cool to surprise her with YOU on the anniversary day.

nice suggestion, ladies. Also how about if you burn a cd with her favorite songs...
I was just curious. How old are you? Still in school?
