I am curious as to who has been in a pillory or stocks, either the prop kind that you might find at parks or fairs, or (Yummy!) the real kind that you couldn't slip out of. I would love to hear about your experience, darlings.

If I go for a while without doing a guy, the back of my mouth and throat get really itchy and ticklish. It's so bad I have trouble concentrating. Advice?

There's more Christian Terrorism going on here at Yahoo Answers than a person would think.And this is not isolated to Answers.Why do Christians act so goody-goody and turn to hate so vehemently?Look at this old bastard who asks about decapitating all homosexuals.And we are off hunting terrorists on foriegn soil.They are right here in our face.I wish they would come in my face.Ha!Ha!But they wont.They hide like ghetto roaches when you hit the lights.They are all over this site with their little snippets of hatred.I just want to meet one.Just one of them to have enough FAITH in their God to save them after they say this trash to my face.You know,if they really had FAITH,they would put their name and address with their religious proclamations...

I am quite taken by this forum. It is interesting and (if you look in the right place) informative. But I am dissapointed that so many views appear to come from younger USA based persons. There is nothing wrong with this, but it would be nice to have a broader contributor base in terms of age, language, culture, etc. Thanks for answering.

Cause straight women don't necessarily find the junk attractive. Not in the same way that straight men like looking at breasts that is.

Larry Kramer said it best, mirroring my feelings about being Gay and the GLBT community overall, in an address to the Gay community on November 7, 2004 in NYC:

"I love being gay. I love gay people. I think we're better than other
people. I really do.
I think we're smarter and more talented and more aware and I do, I do, I totally do. And I think we're more tuned in to what's happening, tuned into the moment, tuned into our emotions, and other people's emotions, and we're better friends. I really do think all these things."

I feel the same as Larry. I know many, many more of us do too.

My brothers and sisters are among the most dynamic, the most resilient, the most innovative and we're certainly among the most brilliant to have ever graced this planet.
Whether all of us have realized it or not, we're also among the most powerful cultures our world has seen.

How do you feel about yourself as a GLBT person?

Best Wishes!

we need 101reasons to love some1, but only 1 to hate someone. why??? this life is too short to fight.? YOU DO NOT EVEN KNOW WHATS GONNA HAPPEN THE VERY NEXT SECOND???
these days, religion is for creating differences and not to unite the people. any suggestions or comments are welcomed.

ok i'm gay and everything, right? well it kind of disgusts me when i see all these gay pride parades and gay people walking down the street naked! i mean yes, i have pride, but who gives a **** when your naked? if you're gay, then show it by holding hands with the one you love. wear pride t-shirts or jewelry. but walking down the streets naked and dissing ALL straight people is just stupid. it's a sign of major immaturity. and another thing, to all of you. dont straight bash. True, no one wants gay bashing, but straight people dont like bashing either. just ignore them when they bash you. just grow up. those of you who do any of the above give the rest of us, who want to live a NORMAL life, a bad name. i am constantly criticized around school and even with my friends because of my sexuality. "hey do you want to have sex with like, every girl in school?" NO!!! god just please grow up. i have a gf for 5 yrs and i luv her. :)

so tell me why some of you do that?

I guess I am a little surprized. Over and over again I see younger gays and lesbians still living at home with their folks coming on here and asking about coming out to their families. And over and over again we more seasoned people tell them to wait until they are on their own. (I'm in my 30's)

Is it really so important for you to come out when you are so vulnerable? You could be kicked out. You could find your self sent to a Dr. to make you straight. You could be cut off financially.

Why jeaprodise your security? It is one thing to be cut off from your family when you can take care of your self. But beforehand?

Does it not make sense for you to wait a few years until you are on your own and out of harms way?

Do you listen to us when we tell you to hold off?

Any comments from seniors?

The following comment comes from an online discussion forum. As a GLBT individual, do you agree? What are you doing to further our fight for equal status under the [US] law?
~~~~~~~~~~
"Many American gays have a very narrow view of the world, one in which should be labeled the "American conservative-gay" mindset (Said mindset is that of "Primetime Televsion & Fox News, chat rooms, and DVD rentals")!! Most NEVER see past their shallow box of entertainment, and they are egarly brainwashed by right-wing and heterosexual programming. Thus, they don't speak out, mainly because they choose NOT to COME OUT! They remain locked in isolated closets of shame and they LASH out at uncloseted gay men and women who have PRIDE in their sexuality. They use OUTDATED machoisms and heterosexual references to "gay men" as "SISSIES" and "EFFIMINENT"..... Those gay people are at the helm of the gay communities destruction. While they choose to stay silent and IGNORANT of politics and the effect...
I have no problems with gay people, gay marriage, etc. but I don't see how these parades help their cause. If anything, it just pisses the conservatives off. Is this the point?
When my mom talks of lesbians (She's ok with gay men), it is always something negative. The says that it is nasty and other things like that. I am gay but she does not know it. I want to tell her but with her attitude, I am afraid I will get kicked out. I have a twin sister and she is straight and she also talks negatively about lesbians. I am more butch like and most people just assume that I am gay. My mom dosen't like the way I dress and yells at me alot for it. Sometimes I think she does that because she dosen't want me to be gay and to let me know that being gay is unacceptable. I want to tell her that I am gay to see if she will stop yelling at me but I am afraid of getting kicked out since I am 18. What do yall think I should do? I plan on moving away after freshman year and getting a new start somewhere else but I want to start dating before then, but my sister is going to the same college. Also, any ideas on where to move to after this year?
It so sad for me, every time i enter here, and have to put up with sick people who continuosly say horrible things to the community they should be banned from this site, i have never seen a gltb trying to kill people, or saying bad word's to other communities, so why put up whit this, i don't get it, why can we all learn from each other and interact peacefully. What do i do with all the feelings, and anger, Need ideas, what can we do?
