My parents are very unaccepting of my sexuality. They have known about my lesbianism for about five years. They have met my girfriend numerous times, and continue to be ignorant towards her. They also act so different towards me. What can I do to help them? I come from a VERY small town, where there are "no such thing" as gay people. Can anyone help me?

They always think they're better then everyone else and take all thier jokes out on other people just to get attention. They're so retarded and annoying, so why does everyone love them? They aren't cool, so.......WHY?

It seems that I see alot of harassment to the people due to translation errors. Do we really want to do this? Is this typical? It breaks my heart to see it.

While there are exceptions, I know many more gay men who go by their formal names of David, Michael, Christopher, Robert or Johnathan, than I do those who use Dave, Mike, Chris, Bob or John. I've never understood why they opt for the more formal name. Any ideas? I only go by "Douglas" on formal documents, but cringe if someone call me that instead of "Doug".

My brother and the TV "tell" me something abount north american's life that I think it isnt true.

Ok... YOU work hard ( me to... I just stay more or less 9 hours in my home every day).

Some told me that american's life is like "The O.C.", just rich people.

I dont believe it. Then I ask to who really live in that place.
How about your choices to help the other people, do u make it?
Do you like friends? Do you kiss?
Oh my god.. american seems so bad when I see on TV.

How about the other people that go to your country?
Do you think that they're trash?
