They always think they're better then everyone else and take all thier jokes out on other people just to get attention. They're so retarded and annoying, so why does everyone love them? They aren't cool, so.......WHY?

Because they are stupid, and thats what people want. Things like certain Tv shows have shortened everyone's attention span and they can't understand complex things such as your and you're.

Someone who is considered popular is often not really well liked, thus not actually popular. The people who are truly popular and have many friends are usually not seen as popular.

people become popular because they in some way amuse or interest others. most people i know i would consider popular and they rock. we all make fun of eachother but we know its a big joke and we have fun with it. most people you meet that have lots of friends is because they are confident in themselves and not afriad to act like idiots for the sake of making others laugh a little.
