A black person can't bring up thier own history with out being accused of blaming white people for their problems. That isn't even close to it I work hard for everything I have. I'm appreciative of where I come from, I don't walk around like you or anyone else did anything to me. I still face racism today not to the extent of our past I shrug that off no biggey. So basically in other races of peoples minds if I talk about it than I'm not over something that never happend to me. Of course I'm over it, but remembering it is what keeps me grounded. It makes me appreciate my life I'm sure that goes for most black folks why doesn't anyone get that.

I have alot of Gay and Lesbian friends and few they play bi. I want to know what constitutes bi-sexuality. Is it a kiss, or a three some or is it a relationship with both. Please let me know what makes a person bi.

Do you think it is wise to get braids for the very young girls? I saw some little girls yesterday, they looked about 5, and already had artificial hair. I thought their mother was sending the message to them at such a young age that their natural hair was not good enough. I think braids should be something black women choose when they are older, not grow up with as normal. I tried out braids once, but my hair all ripped out (the girl who braided it said my hair was too thin for those styles) and the process was painful and the fake hair was heavy and hard to wash. I think maybe little girls would not want them anyway. Why is it considered bad for black women and girls to wear their hair naturally? What do you think?

My Mom and my cousin are two of my favorite people. They're both amazing in their own ways. And I say amazing, knowing the word is very devalued and common nowadays, but meaning it - it's really a shock that they survived all that they did. Great folks. Who do you admire and/or adore?

Or does looking at even the prettiest woman or sexiest man repulses them? Just curious.

Also, is it ever possible to seduce a gay man? Or lesbian, if you're not the same sex? Is that called experimentation like people call it when heterosexuals do it.

by other yong men, why are we the ones mugged and beaten up all the time, cant the criminal scum pick on some one there own size and age. Why do pussys who cant fight end up using blades or guns, all they are, are a weapon for the weak and scared who cant do it them selves. And get a blade do the work for them, or a bullet. It pisses me off, Who agrees?

I just read Bruce Bs question "Does this confuse anyone but me?" and I couldnt answer but it made me want to ask something that Ive always wondered about gays. Im not gay, so maybe I'LL get crucified for this, but Id like some valid answers for my 5 points.

I dont understand why it is that gay men, who do not find women sexually attractive, adopt effeminate mannerisms and speak with exaggerated feminine voices and essentially ACT like women? The same applys to lesbian women that go to far extremes to mask their femininity. If they dont like men, why do they try to appear as one? I know that this does not pertain to ALL gays, and perhaps is a stereotype but you have to admit...it IS noticibly common. So why is this?

Years ago I had some friends who were lesbians and I remember them sniping each other behind their backs about ""she dresses so straight"" like that was some homo-unspoken rule-broken offense. Obviuosly theres some peer-pressure in the gay community to conform?

I work for a company that is let's say a good ole boy company.

I have a great position. I am in at 6 am out by 3 pm I work maybe 15 minutes out of the 9 hour day 1 hour lunch, eat free, great insurance, paid holidays, no weekends unless on call and I still do not have to go in and get paid double time min of 6 hours plus with out the OT I make over $50,000 a year.

But I am the only woman, ethnic person, and like I said it is a good ole boy place. They pretty much leave me alone and don't say anything to me all day long every day.

I am bored out of my mind and know that I am the token here. I am giving them my 2 weeks notice so I can persue a carrer where I can express myself and be of benefit to the comapany. With all the perks if you were me whould you stay or would you go?

I was out this weekend w/ friends to W.Va. My friend found this cool hot spring spa location. So, we all went there and enjoyed the spa. However, as we were exploring this lil' town, we received weird looks and 2 cars yelled at us. One car yelled "me love you long time" I didn't even understand what that meant but nevertheless they were making fun of us bec we're Azn. I'm not a racist but incidence like this makes me upset. Prolly, Azn never set foot in that lil' town, still it kinda ruined my trip.

there are very very few "pure" races in the U.S. there are few "African Americans" but most black people seem to identify sooooo much with being black where many white people accept that they are just Americans with mixed ethnicities
