Some forms of memory loss might do that. I heard of a case where a newspaper reporter disappeared and was declared dead. She turned up seven years later living in another state with a new identity. She had a major fugue episode where she apparently lost her identity and ended up in Colorado where she was hospitalized and got her life back on track - without a past or any idea who she was. She learned a trade and ended up in Alaska. She married and had four children. She was finally discovered and was reunited with her family of origin. She had little recollection of her past. She is now living in seclusion on the West Coast.
So, I imagine one could "loose" their sexual identity as well. If you forget your name, your past, you can loose your sexual identity.

Since there is no such thing as TOTAL memory loss, no. Ever hear of an amnesiac that forgot how to speak???

Oooh, that's a toughy because I don't think it's a choice and if it was I suppose they'd have to be told they were gay.

I think so. Even if they don't remember right away, I would think that it would come back to them. Blessings
