My Brother. He works hard and seven kids. Each one was planned for and wanted very much (some were special-needs adopted). Both he and his wife are in the medical field and are just plain great people.

Two of my cousins are amazing. I'm fascinated by the skills they have. But the person I look up to the most is my little brother. He's survived so much, he was supposed to die MANY times. Last time I checked, he was still alive and well. Recently he got a disease and had to get his legs amputated. I was so scared. Now he's in the hospital and can somehow fly across the floor, walking! And without his prostetics, too! I love him so much.

It would have to be my mom. She is 67 years old, is the floatilla commander for the local Coast Guard Auxilliary, cooks for 50+ people twice a week in an organization for the less fortunate that she started several years ago, and still finds time to take the grandchildren fishing, swimming, shopping, to work and back; and puts up with the onery old man she's been married to for 47 years! Makes me tired just thinking about it!

My deceased maternal Grandmother - from extremely humble beginnings (pre WW1), widowed at 40. Had been musically gifted/talented, became a novelist and world traveler. Bestowed on to me lots of words of wisdom, that have helped make me the wonderful woman I am today.

My mother-in-law who passed in Feb. and my Dad.
My dad is a great man who I didn't like much growing up. He was strict. Now I know why and respect him so much. He is a wonderful man.
My mother-in-law was everything to so many people and held it together so well. She made everyone smile and befriended everyone she ever saw. How can some people be so "big-hearted"
What wonderful people I have shared my life with.

My Mother. She is truly a survivor! My Grandmother, being so strong as a woman. My husband, picking himself up after falling, ( he has had spinal surgery twice. ) and he always knows everything will be alright. My children, they are always happy and finding the beauty in everything. My Grandpa, for changing his life around and never going back. and many more.

I adore and admire my grandmother, she is self-taught woman, and she is so bold. I only hope to turn out the woman she is today in my future.
