Why do certain things exist only at certain places, and in certain specific conditions? Why does life exist only in certain places? Who decides where life should exist, & in what form? Why?

Then please explain the conscience (or little voice) to me.

I am having a hard time rationalizing that we are just animals with more smarts, and bigger brains.

Humans naturally have a desire to do (or be) "good", and not "bad". (also known as the conscience) I do not see where this can be an animalistic tendency.

If you were to consider only ONE aspect of the human nature that relates to the little voice.... and that the human being actually feels (natural endorphins are released) better when giving, than when receiving... that would totally go against the evolutionary concept of survival of the fittest. Animals will steal food/shelter etc from other animals. It would be expected that if this nature was to evolve to humans, then it would benefit a human to be selfish and to hoarde food/supplies/shelter etc. And yet, we dont.

Please explain.

Thanks in advance for your answers!

Because they all use the Bible, why can't Christianity be consolidated into one religion? Jehovah's Witnesses, Baptists, Catholics, Amish, etc. all use the same Book. Yet according to the JW's, only 144,000 are going to heaven (straight from Revelations). Catholics have saints but many wonder if that is a form of worshipping another "god".

For Islam it's the Sunnis, Shi'ites, Sufis, Kharijites, etc. For Judaism it's Eastern Orthodox, Western Orthodox, Hasidic, Reform, etc.

Why can't they narrow their beliefs down? And if the beliefs are the same, why do you need so many variations?

I was reading a story online that was unfinished and linked to a Pagan forum that sounded a bit farfetched, albiet fascinating. The gist of the story was that there was a plot of land that a group of guys were exploring with cave that led underground. One of them decided to go down and see what was there and his story is what was told. The cave opening was fiarly large at the top and gradually got narrower until a human could barely fit through. Eventually (after a couple days' attempt) he made it to the bottom where there was a very large open area with odd, almost alien, heiroglyphics, and a pillar in the middle, that was otherwise empty. Then as he was coming out of the cave, the rope that was supporting him yanked him down back toward the empty room, even though there was nothing there he could see. That's where the story ended even though he promised more on his site.

While I am very openminded, I have trouble believing this. Is something like this really possible?

You here it spoken anytime someone is grieveing over a loved one that as passed on before you.Or you think silently to yourself,I or you will see them again in heaven .sometimes the only confort a grieveing person has is to be told or believe they will know and see their loved one again.90% of me believe in God, Heaven,Jesus, and eternal life.It has been my practice at being a christain going on 10 yr's now.10% don't know what to believe, and I wonder Is there eternal life,do you know and see your loved one's again, does your spirit go to heaven to be with God or hell when death occurs.I wonder if it is all a myth at times just word's to comfort one's soul, because we cannot accept the real truth.Because I have also heard that the real truth of the matter is that when you die and go to Heaven you remember nothing of your past life,or of yourself and loved ones. And untill Jesus come's back to take us all up with him or not with death you are of the earth ashes to ashes and dust to dust.

Someone suggested that it can not be proven that plant life at that time before the days of Noah required water.

I put forth for your consideration that Adam and Eve had indoor plumbing, and even thou it is not in Genesis, since no one can disprove it, it must be so, yes!

Now, most of us will come to the conclusion very fast that even if there was Adam and Eve, they did not have indoor plumbing. That such a notion is absurd wouldn't you agree?

A standard of common sense we would apply wouldn't you agree?

Plant life surviving without rain water, impossible, we would think that because we apply a standard of common sense,

wouldn't you
agree?

I couldn’t find any similar, previously asked questions, so forgive me if this has been settled earlier, elsewhere. The question is; will you still follow your religion if conclusive proof were discovered that there is no afterlife. This will just about nullify each and every religion out there. It seems as if the basic formula for all religion to gain power and authority is the same: Tell people, even though it can not be proved, that there is an afterlife, you have a soul, you will be judged based on what you do on earth and, voila, the hard drive is formatted! Add any version of software you like! Now I can just hear people say, “It is so, cause the bible said so!” On that I can just say that from where I’m standing, there seems to be a lot of contradiction and lies in the bible, and as communications and our scientific knowledge grows, the contradiction and lies seem to grow with it.

Different races stuck to a specific continent.

Examples:

All the black (African American, Afro Caribbean etc) people all over the world go to Africa.

All the Caucasian Americans to Europe etc.

God put us all there to begin with. Maybe we shouldn't have moved!

Given the discoveries of quantum mechanics, that reality a wave of probability that collapses when observed and that the observed reality a creation of the observer, can we safely say that reality and the observer are one and the same? Does this not parallel every wisdom tradition in recorded history?

Ok, since so many people want to argue about the watch thing.... hmmmmm. Evolutionsists claim that life came from a large explosions of NON-LIVING particles. First, where did those particles come from in the first place???? Second, if something living can come from something non-living, then wouldn't make sense for something non-living to come out of the same? Last time I saw an explosion of some kind, I don't remember any living thing coming out of it..... explosions, contrary to popular belief are DESTRUCTIVE, not CONSRUCTIVE. There is NO hands on proof that evolution exists, or that the universe was 'created' in a 'big bang'. That said, there is also no way to prove that God exists, outside of common sense. But there is also NO WAY to EVER prove that He (the Bible refers to HIM as HE!... NOT she) doesn't exist and that evolution does. True science comes from observable proof, which evolutionists have NONE. That's why it's called a THEORY! So quick pushing it as FACT!
