I was reading a story online that was unfinished and linked to a Pagan forum that sounded a bit farfetched, albiet fascinating. The gist of the story was that there was a plot of land that a group of guys were exploring with cave that led underground. One of them decided to go down and see what was there and his story is what was told. The cave opening was fiarly large at the top and gradually got narrower until a human could barely fit through. Eventually (after a couple days' attempt) he made it to the bottom where there was a very large open area with odd, almost alien, heiroglyphics, and a pillar in the middle, that was otherwise empty. Then as he was coming out of the cave, the rope that was supporting him yanked him down back toward the empty room, even though there was nothing there he could see. That's where the story ended even though he promised more on his site.

While I am very openminded, I have trouble believing this. Is something like this really possible?

The story's site was linked to www.mysticwicks.com in the paranormal section.

The only connection that I can see is that Pagans would likely be more openminded.

I guess my mind is more open than others.....cause I see this totally 'possible.' I have always asked.....why do we bother tying to go to other planets when there is so much still to be learned about this one??? But I fail to see the connection to Pagans? Or is it just something someone wrote that happens to be pagan?

Just take everything like that, as what it is, a "Good story". Some people that frequent those pagan forums like that are kids in high school trying to be mysterious and stuff, and you can never really put any good hopes in it anyway. Iam a christian, so i dont believe in that pagan stuff anyway, but if you are interested in the paranormal why not just look up the history of that stuff. When you have the facts readily available to you then you can research the story and find out whether it is true or not. In my own humble opinion, i just think that it is just a couple of bored goths at school that made this stuff up. One of the reasons why he promised more was probably because he had to make sure the rest of the story didnt contradict the one he already told. Most caves that the general public have access to are already explored anyway. What most stood out was the plot of land part. Plot of land? Most caves exist UNDERWATER, in the forest, or in mountains. To me, this sounds way to sketchy to be fact.

There are stories of those who apparently have some sort of stealth abilities. The American Indians have some and one writer Budd Hopkins had written a book titled;Sight Unseen. If this story is true maybe it's possible someone or something wanted him to remember or see something in particular he had missed. There are many sites with these stories that are interesting. One of which makes claims of present day (as in; one hundred years) type artifacts uncovered in various places that would mean that they had been buried for thousands or millions of years.

Look on the right side of this forum for anomalous artifacts. I click no for the clip board. Whatever.

Watch out. Some people fabricate stories like this just to get attention. I'd be interested to see how it continues. Obviously he got out or wouldn't be there to tell the tale. There is more truth to the Stargate series than most people would admit to. There are indeed gateways and wormholes leading to other parts of the universe. Just see where it continues and get back to us on this, okay?

it incredibly is not based off of authentic activities in any respect. there's a disclaimer on the tip of the action picture that declares all activities are completely fictional and any likeness to actual human beings or activities are thoroughly coincidental. The action picture substitute into incredibly shot in the director's living house. It ended up costing the digicam and the expenses for the actors and that's it, so none of it incredibly is authentic. The characters Micah Sloat and Katie Featherston or despite her final call is are incredibly the actors' names in actual existence. it incredibly is why there have been not any credit, it substitute into an self sustaining incredibly low funds action picture that took 2 weeks to action picture and alter into initially prepare on the director's pc. impressive action picture.

How did anyone know what was down the cave if the person didn't get out to tell anyone the story?

It would not be very likely because if it were real, it is most likely to have been on the national news or something. if it really did happen he would have told you th date of the news report or sumthing on the website. not the best answer i usually come up with. hope you get better answers

I doubt very much that they're alien. More than likely it's a prehistoric thing, something Native American or similar. I don't doubt the veracity, I just think some of the language you (and presumably he) used makes it out to be more fantastic than it really may be.

That is freaky! Myself, I think that anything is possible. That seems like it could happen, even if it was a freak accident. Sounds like a great story though, what is the site name?

While possible, it is not very probable. Is there anything to corroborate this story? A bit of skepticism goes a long way.
