the UK has famous scientists etc on their currency
is this a better idea ... should we be reckognising the men and women of science and giving them the credit they are due ?
would love to hear from the religious also ....
we always hear about God being on the American notes and how some atheists may not agree
i would like to hear about the other side of the coin ( if you pardon the pun

I think that's nice and interesting. We do it with STAMPS all the time. Einstein's been on one so have others. I think John Lennon was on a stamp once. Now how is that for open! You ever going to see Mick Jagger on a bill in the UK!

By the way, isn't the English Monarch, by Parlimentary law, have to be an Anglican. You can't draw from the Catholic "houses" anymore can you. Can England have a Catholic Queen or King or does statute dictate RELIGON for the Monarch.

I seem to recall such a law unless you repealled it later in life.

I mean it isn't called the "Church of England" arbitrarility, is it! It's the official English Church.
