i am looking for this song, but i don't know the title or singer. it's
a christmas song, and it's about this guy who brings home a christmas
tree, and he's looking at this tree and realizes that christ gave the
ultimate gift by dying for him on the tree. i think the title might be
called "the tree" but i can't seem to find it anywhere. please help me
out if you can. the singer is a male artist. thanks!!

I'm a white Aussie. I love the humour of my fellow Aussies, and the way we (of all races) can make fun of ourselves as well as each other.

Under any religion that uses the idea of heaven as an eternal reward, I put forward the following arguement.

A mother dies after leading a righteous life and passes into heaven. The greatest love in her life is her son. Years later her son, after living a life of vice, also dies and goes to Hell.

Is heaven the entire enrichment of heaven if she spends her eternity without her greatest love?

And if so, what value has our love now that heaven can disregard forever?

A) To invent a concept such as God and in order for It to be true, it simply needs to be disproved by me? In other words...Because I can not disprove it, proves it.

b) To claim a concept such as God and the claimee needs to show hard, solid evidence for such a concept to be true?

If God is love then how can He hate anyone? Yet the scripture says in several places like this one that He does.

Mal 1:2 "I have loved Jacob but I have hated Esau and have made his mountains a desolation, and appointed his inheritence for the jackals of the wilderness."

This is not just in the old testament but is also in the new. (Roms 9 :13) And the word "hate" in the Strong's Concordance means - to hate

And how about this one psalms 5:5)

"The boastful shall not stand before thine eyes, thou dost hate all who do iniquity."

What are your thoughts on this? We can't shrug it off and say that it was just in the new testament, or that it is taken out of context or that the word used there doesn't really mean hate.
