Is drinking booze made from honey ok? Or that movie totally offensive and wrong?

That is an example of a Hollywood and American ignorance. Muslims don't drink alcohol.

i understand that the muslim warrior(evan) first denied the offer of drink thinking it was alcoholic beverage, but when he was laughed at and said it was honey, he drank. The viscosity, why was it so liquid, not sticky if it was honey. First, most variety of wild honey is not sticky and very liquid, the other, maybe some water, herbs or juice was mixed with it. The variety of sticky honeys are mostly the cultured ones, (domesticated honeybees). Some even solidy in very short time depending from the variety of flowers the honeybees gathered the nectars.The colors also differ, from crystal clear to black.
