Under any religion that uses the idea of heaven as an eternal reward, I put forward the following arguement.

A mother dies after leading a righteous life and passes into heaven. The greatest love in her life is her son. Years later her son, after living a life of vice, also dies and goes to Hell.

Is heaven the entire enrichment of heaven if she spends her eternity without her greatest love?

And if so, what value has our love now that heaven can disregard forever?

Ah ha! Well you must read of the jewish after life called sheol than you must consider Christians have judgement day. Now why would the dead have to be raised to be judged again. My answer is sheol exsists now, however maybe someone can scripture me wrong. However I think there are places of great harmony in the afterlife. I think you have stages if you were bad that you must go through first as well.

Once you cross that line, into rules of a supernatural reality, all bets, all sanity, all reason, goes down the toilet.
This is not a healthy way to think or to live.
If there was a God, I think that God would want you to live a healthy life.
This kind of religious antiquated philosophy had a time and a place. Not anymore.

Another potential problem with the idea of afterlife - it all sounds so wonderful floating around in eternal bliss with all your christian friends and all your 100,000 ancestors, but wouldn't it get incredibly boring very quickly!? It sounds 'heavenly' when we are brainwashed with it, but the reality would be a never-ending nightmare. Besides, I hate harp music.

In 1999, I died for just under 3 minutes. There's nothing else, so don't worry about it. Live a full life, of vice if you so wish.

Heaven is a place full of fundamentalistic nut case Christians.

Luckily they all get brainwashed into losing their sense of identity and pray to god for eternity.

Well in Islam; In heaven man or woman can have anything they please & with that you can understand that you can ask allah (Your God) for whatever you please; and that sometimes includes bringing who you wish out of hell and into heaven1, but that's not always the issue. But always keep in mind my friend that God never forgets about his people, and what they have done, and he also never lets a man or woman down...

if a person goes to hell, he or she will either suffer in hell or go into reincarnation later.

if he or she is reincarnated, he or she still stand a chance to go to heaven provided he do good merits.
