Sure, why not?
The only objections I hear from people that say it shouldn't be allowed are 1) it's against their religion, 2) it's against "nature", 3) it cheapens marriage, or 4) it's gross.
1) So what? Why should people of other religions have to obey your rules? Why should atheists have to consider the rules of any religions? Do you keep kosher if you're christian?
2) There are lots of cases of homosexuality in nature. You just have to open your eyes and look.
3) Does the fact that 2 guys get married on the other side of your town make you want to beat your spouse, or cheat on them? Will you decide to divorce your spouse because A state government 1000 miles away allows women to marry women? The divorce rate is already about 50% of all marriages. How will a few more marriages change that?
4) What you think is gross may be pretty damned interesting to others. Odds are, you probably thought that straight sex was pretty gross the first time you heard about it, too!

While I understand this is an Important topic, I am curious as to why this question seems to get asked every 5 or 10 questions...
Wouldn't it be better to find the most recent version of this question and read people's responses to that, rather than ask your own. Also, you get a chance to respond yourself to the question.
To answer the question, yes, I think Gay/Lesbian people should be able to get married. It would have absolutley not effect on straight relationships, so unless you are gay wanting to get married, I fail to see how this issue even effects you.

I am not gay. I feel that any two people who love each other should be able to get married - whether it is man and woman, man and man, or woman and woman. It is moral and right. Why anyone would have a problem with it is immature and selfish. Those who want to quote some old book written by fools in a dessert 1000 of years ago are simply brainwashed.

I believe that we should be allowed civil unions, and they should be recognized in all other states as marriages are. Also, civil unions should afford to gay couples the same rights and priveledges as marriage affords to heterosexual couples.
Some of the tension is simply over the word 'marriage', it seems. Civil unions would be a way to bypass that.

let them get married. has no bearing whatsoever on me. some people's religion says it is wrong, that's the major reason. and since religion is absolute BS, so is hating gay people and preventing them from being married. love for another person transcends sex, and these idiots don't seem to get this

god had Adam and Eve
Not Eve & Eve or
Adam & Adam
ADAM AND EVE. god meant for us to have a mom and a dad not 2 moms or an adopted person.
You're here? you're queer? we are not gonna get used to this this... unnatural feeling.
