Is it true that female circumcision is a predominantly Islamic phenomenon? Is there any connection with the practice of wearing the full facial veil which also seems to be motivated by a concern to preserve female chastity? Likewise honour killings also seem to be motivated by this same attitude. I also believe that sharia law permits the stoning to death of individuals accused of adultery. Again highlighting an obsession with female chastity. I live in Bradford where it is not uncommon to see women walking around in what appears to be a complete body tent several paces behind her husband on the street. I personally regard all these practices to be mediaeval and oppressive. Am I wrong to link them to the Islamic culture when instead it is just coincidental that such practices occur in Islamic society?

My Model UN Club at my community college needs some money to be able to attend a model un competition in san francisco which takes place in April. Also, theres another UN Event in New York. We;re located in southern cali, the community college. The school has agreed to cover some of the costs but primarily we need to fundraise ourselves.

The San francisco trip would be about $2000 and the new york approx. $7000.

How can we raise the money without continuing our small, lame bake sales that bring only about $50?

I was thinking perhaps contacting all my local news stations to cover my story and have people donate that way. Yet i assume the majority of people would donate only if it is tax deductible for them...so how can i make this happen?

Other suggestions are welcome. Thank you so much!

There are supposely a lot of athiest people on the computer or people that don't believe in anything. So, if you don't believe in God, Satan, Creation or anything and you call your self athiest or non believers, then why do you know so much about God, Jesus and verses in the bible etc?

Leviticus says homosexuality is an abomination to God.

why would God make you against him-just like some murderers say Jesus made me this way

once doctors said gay is a sin

then it got changed to a mental ilness

yet is murdering people a mental ilness too or a choice

Jesus says to be born again and get new desires no matter what sin we chose-even if we claim God made us to be against him and to live in sin or have demonic desires for the same sex or not to wait for marriage and live in fornication. the bible says its better to marry then to burn-what is your choice-

Ok, there are these people I know that complain quite often but the way they complain is, in my opinion, stupid. Everyday they walk up and say stuff like "Jesus! It's cold out here!" or "Standing up in pep rallies is just gay.", something along those lines and it makes me think that they just want an excuse to say something volgar or unnecessary. This gets very anoying for everyone, especially when somebody uses "gay" a lot which makes me want to tell them that SAYING that is "gay".

I've always wondered-

If you have sex before marriage to a person (they were your first) and you end up marrying and never having sex with anyone else but this person your whole life-
