I will be taking my 3 year old daughter trick or treating tomorrow night. I live in the Glendale/Pasadena area, Los Angeles, CA. Does anyone know of any great local trick or treating hotspots,streets,houses, neighborhoods, etc.. And it probably shouldn't be too scary!! Also, any tips or suggestions on what to do with a preschooler on Halloween night would be appreciated as well. Thanks guys and happy booooooo day!

Am I lazy, bored, or just plain old tired?

Sometimes I feel as though I have no energy. Some people tell me it is because I am bored and need to find something exciting to peak my interest. Some say it is because I am tired because I take on too much. I have a fear of being lazy, but sometimes I wonder why I have this fear is it because of pressure from society.

Who are the shapeshifters in mythologies of the world?

I am interested in knowing about characters in different mythologies that can change THEIR OWN shape to whatever they want to be. I am not looking for those who can change the shape or form of others. In Hindu mythology, Maricha can change his own form and took the form a golden deer when he was killed. Does God like having Satan around sometimes for a chat and a pint?

Seems to me that God must approve of Satan being around to seduce us poor humans into his evil ways, otherwise God would just snap his metaphysical fingers and make Old Nick disappear in a puff of fire and brimstone. Do you think he likes the company? Does God let him stick around for old times' sake? Maybe they kick their shoes off and watch a movie when they're not impregnating virgins and toying with people's souls. What do you think?
