I will be taking my 3 year old daughter trick or treating tomorrow night. I live in the Glendale/Pasadena area, Los Angeles, CA. Does anyone know of any great local trick or treating hotspots, streets, houses, neighborhoods, etc.. And it probably shouldn't be too scary!! Also, any tips or suggestions on what to do with a preschooler on Halloween night would be appreciated as well. Thanks guys and happy booooooo day!

The best place to go is the mall. It's alot safer nowadays than going door to door. They have kids of all ages dressed up trick or treating there. When I was a kid, I preferred going to the mall because you got more candy and the experience lasted longer (200+ stores participating in one area as opposed to a random house here and there). Where I live now, there are a ton of kids but you don't see any of them going door to door.

u should go trick or treating at the mall where they pass out candy at every department store. i remember doing that as a kid until i got old enough to trick or treat with my friends. the mall is totally safe and there's nothing scary there.

I would go to one of the churches in your area. Or check with the chamber of commerce and see if the parks have a Halloween night. Much safer for both of you. Have fun.

I use to live in L.A. and when mine were that small I would take them to the local malls. You can go store to store for candy, its safer, your indoors out of the cold, you can shop, eat dinner and know your candy is safe for your little ones.

When they are that small their little legs give out sooner than later as well.
