We are in the position of a little child entering a huge library filled with books in many different languages. The child knows someone must have written those books. It does not know how. The child dimly suspects mysterious order in the arrangement of the books but doesn't know what it is. That, it seems to me, is the attitude of even the most intelligent human being toward God. We see a universe marvelously arranged an obeying certain laws, but only dimly understand these laws. Our limited minds cannot grasp the mysteriou force that moves the constellations. I am fascinated by Spinoza's pantheism, but admire even more his contributions to modern thought because he is the first philosopher to deal with the soul and the body as one not two separate things.

My cousin and I try to find the most hideous things to give to eachother on Christmas eve=the loser has to wear it the whole night with the family. Last year we bought the most hideous piece of costume jewelery for eachother. Can anyone think of a another good gift that we can buy for each other? Has to be tame because my Nana will be there. God forbid!

QUESTION: What is the "bread"?

Catholics know this as the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist, the Body and Blood of Jesus.

I have looked everywhere online and cannot find it in any Spanish-English conversion site. It might be slang so that may be the reason I was not able to locate the meaning. This is of dire importance to me personally so any help would be greatly appreciated. Once again it was used by someone from Cota Rica so it may be Caribbean Spanish

Like most it was during my student years that I discovered the wonders of charity shops.
Over the years I've brought a huge amount from them but they seem to be getting more expensive. I used to buy a lot of my books from them, at 50p ago I would think nothing of reading the book and then giving it back to the charity shop to resell. I now struggle to find any book under £2 in them so tend to use the library instead.
But what really gets me is that they have all these books at what I think is silly prices, and then when I turned up at a charity shop a couple of weeks ago with two boxes of books, I was told they weren't accepting book donations as they had too many!!!!!
Surely common sense shold tell them that if they lowered the prices slightly they would increase sales, therefore allowing more room for further book donation which would result in more sale and higher revenue.
Is it me? Am I being an old stinge or has common sense lost the plot here?

When my mother was 15 she was lying in bed one night driffting off when fog began to come up the stairs,It came into her room and who came running up the stairs after it...satan.(thats no joke).I just thought i would share it with you coz its nearly halloween!!Scary **** huh!I have felt the presence of the devil before it was the most scariest thing ever!do you have any true stories about anything like that????????????????

Can God create a mountain so massive that He cannot move it? If he can, that means He can't do anyting, because He can't move the mountain. But if He can't create such a mountain, then that means God can't do anything.

PS: I believe in God, but I tend to form my own beliefs on Him/Her/It from my findings...I think that's what God have uis minds for...I don't think He wants us to believe everything we hear and read about Him....

So....can God create such a mountain?
