Mt 7:1-5
1"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
3"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.

Those that are members of the Body of Christ will judge all things. The sin is what we judge and not the person. Discernment is needed but, not many people have that.

It is not realistic to ask someone not to judge. That is what we do. That is actually all that we do in our mind.

Matthew 7:1
"Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you."
As the context reveals, this does not prohibit all types of judging-
Matthew 7:16a
"You will know them by their fruits."
There is a righteous kind of judgment we are to exercise with careful discernment-
John 7:24
"Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment."
Censorious, hypocritical, self-righteous, or other kinds of unfair judgments are forbidden; but in order to fulfill the commandments that follow, it is necessary to discern dogs and swine from ones own brethren.
Matthew 7:6
"Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces."

Judging is natural. You can't help but to judge. If someone completely failed to judge anything, they'd probably be dead.
It's only bad when you judge based on bad or missing information. And it is also bad when you overgeneralize your judgements.
