Experiments and the high density of diamonds tell us that they crystallize at very high pressures. In nature this means that diamonds are created by geologic processes at great depth within Earth, generally more than 150 kilometers down, in a region beneath the crust known as the mantle. Other processes bring diamonds to where people can find them.

The three concentric layers of the Earth -- the core, mantle, and crust -- formed within a few hundred million years of Earth's coalescence 4.5 billion years ago. The core makes up a large fraction of the mass of Earth. The mantle is between the core and the thin crust and is composed of magnesium and iron silicate minerals. Diamonds can form in most of Earth's interior but not near its surface, where graphite is the stable form of carbon. Diamonds only survive at Earth's surface because great heat is required to break down the diamond structure.

So, if diamonds form in the ancient mantle, how do you explain how long this process takes?

Please help, i know i've asked this question once before but this time i'm really in fear. I don't even know where to begin. I didn't know how scary Hell is until today. i've seen it in pictures,movies BUT THAT WAS ALL FAKE! It wasn't as scary as this. What i heard from the Super Sensitive Microphone which were buried deep down in the core of the earth was unearthly scary! Even the sound seems as if it is puncturing through my heart and blood veins.
theres a few more other things that happen which made me realise Allah Subhanawatalla is the only One true God and Muhammad (PBUH) is His last true messenger.I've committed alot of sins and those will take me straight to hell if I don't do something.Please help me

OK, I was reading another question. It was about Christians defending their religion and the overwhelming majority of answers said that all Christians were narrow minded and didn't like anyone asking about their relgion. I am a Christian and I don't really care. I know some people are like that, but most aren't. Yet for some reason a lot of people give Christians bad names.



P.S. If your gona say that Christians are narrow minded then don't even bother to answer.

I was talking with a co-worker today...anyway somehow it came up when we went to lunch that neither of us seem to know what people of religions that think divorce is bad (I wont name the religion due to the surprising amount of hate mail I receive...the irony huh) when the husband (or wife) is physically abusive.

Oh and to the yahoo admin that I’m sure will find this against the TOS, I have a screen shot that I will be submitting once you give me another violation, please be prepared to explain that one.

I have naturally dirty blonde hair and green eyes. People think I'm White, but I am Black.

Today I was sitting in a meeting at work and everyone in the room was White. A couple of people were saying the most derogatory things about Black people. I wanted to stand up and slap this one guy, but I was afraid that I would lose my job.

When people make racist comments in front of you not realizing you're Black, how do you handle that?
