Hypothetical question - Lets say beings from a place far away visited planet earth and you were the first person they encounter. Their first impression of you is the image of humanity they will have forevermore. What would you want "them" to know about you... about us, about humanity?

This phrase is a motto of mine. It means proceeding with something even if you are scared. The "it" can refer to a situation or an action.

Proverbs 13:20He that is walking with wise persons will become wise, but he that is having dealings with the stupid ones will fare badly.
Other places in the bible it says to watch our association, do you think that should apply to TV also?

This question is one of logic. Its a follow up of an earlier similar question.

I am agnostic, i dont believe in any religion. That being the case, I dont have it out for "all religions". However, some are worse than others, and there is no question, Islam is the very worst of the worst.

Heres one problem I DONT have with Christianty --- whether Christ's prophethood could have been believeable to the people of the time IF the bibles accounts of his conduct were true.

Lets assume the Quran's account of Muhammad was true. Now, imagine your one of Muhammads henchmen. Why do you believe him, anymore than you would believe a homeless man drooling out the same claim?

If Jesus said to me "Im a God's Prophet" and then ressurected a poor deadman, in front of my eyes...yea, I could see myself following and believeing. Why did Muhammad's henchmen do so?

Literally no other reason other than the fact he said so, and he was a man of arms.

This is mostly addressed to Pagans, or any other non-fundamentalist religion/spiritual group.

Frequently people will post prayer requests on these boards. I think that is wonderful that they can recieve support in that way.

However, I am also discouraged to know that many of these people would not want or appreciate our particular brand of prayer because they think that we are pray to something 'evil'. Does anyone else experience this? How do you handle it? Do you just move on and accept that they don't want your prayer? Or do you do it anyway? Do you go into alpha level and ask the person on the astral level for permission?

I am curious to see what others do...

Thanks for your input!

~RW

P.S. I usually just accept that they don't want my help because I know how vehemently some believe in the inherent 'evil-ness' of my particular spirituality.

Do you think that it will eventually be possible to live forever?
Notice the reason we dream of living longer read Ecclesiastes 3:11 Even time indefinite he has put in their heart, that mankind may never find out the workthat the true God has made from the start to the finish. We were made to live forever and that is what we still want. No one says, gee I wish I could die today.

Because I have noticed the amount of names with "grandma" in them is increasing.

My search results within Answers:

"prunes" - 780 results
"medicare" - 948 results
"adult diapers"- 148 results
"retirement" - 2048 results

Eh, you draw your own conclusions.

Read Job 12:7,8 However, ask, please, the domestic animals, and they will instruct you. Also the winged creatures of the heavens, and they will tell you. Or show your concern to the earth, and it will instruct you and the fishes of the sea will declare it to you.
I think what that verse is trying to say is look at the wisdom in the animals. Even bugs seem to know what they are doing. Like the ants it says puts up food for the winter. Who told them to do that?

My ex-boyfriend( we're getting bcak together soon) was Latino and he had these pretty blueish-grey eyes that would hyptonize me. And they were very pure and striking. He looks so sexy with his black hair and blue eyes.
