generally it is freethinkers, those who go their own way. That being said, alot of people who follow along with everyone else, do hold on to some of their own convictions, and continue to practice those and speak them, but also follow along in other areas, I can;t say that i respect them as much as freethinkers. Freethinkers also though sometimes feel the same way about things as other freethinkers, they get no less respect from me because of that.
Its the sheep that bother me, the ones that do everything exactly the same as everyone else, they have one big collective thought and carry it out unfailingly time after time. They never stop to think about other ways or ideas, because even thinking about them is evil and bad. They generally are unable to come up with an original idea to save their lives. Mostly talking about the fundamentalist brand of christian here, and many non fundamentalists as well. One example:
answering a question with quoted scripture without summarizing what that piece of scripture means to you personally.

Both kinds of people are necessary in our world , however anyone can follow the crowd . It takes guts to be unique &as you say freethinkers .
I have never been one to follow anything . I like the fact that I am always the one to come up with the crazy fun things to do , and I'm always the 1st one to speek in a crowd or the 1st to make a decision ect . So therefore I admire others who do the same in their lives .

If someone wants to follow the crowd after thinking about it, then I admire them. If someone follows the crowd just to do it, then I view them as idiots.
I much more admire people that can actually think about things and use their own judgment. That shows far more intelligence.
