Ok im 20 years old and im divorced. no kids. bisexual. I have a boyfriend who is 18 and we work together. I have found myself wanting to leave him but be friends because i am starting to feel more for women......no one in particular. could it be im just loosing interest in men. and how do I talk to him about it without hurting him. BTW I have been in a lot of relationships with men where they have been abusive to me but i dont think that has anything to do with it. I just needs some opinions on this. NO christian responses please.

There's no easy way to break up with someone who cares about you. The thing is not to try to find an easy way, but just deal with it honestly by communicating exactly how you feel, as soon as possible. Just get your feelings on the table.

You said that you've been in abusive relationships before, but do you fear this is one of them? Has he ever shown aggression toward you? Do you think he might if you tell him this news?

Discover what is holding you back from being honest and upfront with him. If its just a fear and he's never done anything to make you afraid before, then it may be just a false fear. In that case, you need to swallow your fear, and just get the issue out in the open.

Otherwise, its a very different problem. If he's ever shown aggression to you, you need to find help to leave him from a friend or from someone who can protect you, like the police.

I wish you the best in such a trying and emotional time.

I am sorry but as a Christian bisexual I must respond. You need to not get tied down if you are feeling you can not make a commitment. I think is it always better if a true bisexual never marries I made the mistake of marrying and I regret it. I thought when I fell in love with my wife my desires for men had gone away. But as I aged they returned with a vengeance. If you are having desires for women you need to tell him as openly and honestly as you can. and hope you do not hurt him.

Be honest with your feelings! Its ok. Dont feel guilty or wrong for what your feeling or the fact that you may be hurting him.GOODBYES ALWAYS HURT! Trust me later on when he is able to understand he will be thankfull you were so honest and open with him.Hopefully you two can remain friends if that is what you really want.I can relate to you at this point but mine is a bit more difficult because i want to c both but have neither no about the other.I know its so wrong-im just not sure about what I want yet!

Maybe it's just him as a man that you are losing interest in rather than in men in general; anyhow, perhaps you should evaluate what it about your relationship with him that you find isn't satisfied , and what you think a woman would make better.
