How do you like drinking your cappucino? Do you take the frothy top of with a spoon before drinking the coffee underneath, or do you drink it as it is and then scrap the froth left behind with a spoon? Is there a correct way to drink a cappucino?

In talking about a passage in Leviticus 20:10, concerning putting adulterers to death, another Y!A participant wrote

"This was the law to the Children of Israel. Not to you and I. It is in the Bible for the historical perspective. While adultery is still wrong, the death penalty is no longer in place for it. "

Either the bible is genuine or it is not. Who decides which part represents God's words and which do not? Were there footnotes provided by Gabriel helping you decide?

I consider that "an atheist is someone who doesn't take an interest in any kind of religious & spiritual beliefs."

Do you agree with this definition? How would you improve it?

Thx :-)

I looked at a website that someone reccomended on here and saw a picture of a newborn baby with a severed head. I don't understand why people are so sick, i know people who have watched a video called faces of death and i can't understand why they wanted to watch it? Sick things happen to people but as i see it the victim is someones loved one. It makes me feel hysterical that people want to see horrific things. Isn't life enough as it is? Does anyone feel the same as me? i am an open minded person and nothing on this earth could make me understand. Bad things happen but why are they shown to other people and why do people agree to see it? i could cry.

God's way is the shedding of innocent blood to make ourselves righteous with God. We see in Genesis 3:21
21 Also for Adam and his wife the LORD God made tunics of skin, and clothed them. (New King James Version)

And that Abel's Sacrafice was acceptable. Genesis 4: 4 Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat. And the LORD respected Abel and his offering, (New King James Version).

So, since I do not believe in Jesus, but I want to make myself righteous before God, and in Genesis people were made righteous before God because of the shedding of innocent blood, can I on my death bed sacrafice an innocent goat, to make myself righteous with God?

The futurist angle on the book of Revelation in the Bible is turning more and more towards money and absurdity. The historicist angle is becoming more enlightening, having come out of the fog of the futurist angle myself. I am still holding to the amillenialist/spiritual interpretation angle myself, but I just wanted to know if there were any others out there who felt like me...shalom.
