It is not mine and you should turn it in to the lost and found with your name and contact information. If it is not claimed then it would be come yours. In your question you are sking folks how much money is inside the wallet - you also stated it had $743 in it. So how are folks supposed to guess when you already told them.

i did not lose my wallet today..but if i had, the first thing i would do to find it, is to retrace my steps. please, turn the wallet into the airports security dept. that way the person who lost it has a better chance of finding it. also the security department will know if someone has already asked about the missing wallet, they will be able to return it. they will know approximately where it was lost and what the contents were, if someone already reported it missing they will have more info from the report than you are willing to share over the inter-net.

I've never heard of a wallet without ID, and you already stated the amount of money(or at least a rough estimate). Besides, which air port was it and how do you know that the wallet's owner is even associated with yahoo answers????
