Of course she was, both in the spiritual and the romantic sense. Why else would she stay by his side throughout his torturing? The only other person there was mom...

Yes she was. She probably was his wife as is suggested in more than a few books. Mary was there to support him during the years of teaching and she was there to take care of his body when it was taken down from the cross. Jewish law decreed that it had to be family to do, so there would be no other reason then for her to be there. Also in the bible one of the disciples says to Jesus "Why do you love her more than us" The answer has to be that they had a special loving relationship beyond the confines of teacher and student

My opinion is that she deeply admired Jesus for his wisdom and treatement of women. Women in that era were treated badly and without respect, but on my occasions Jesus showed affection to women, and that drew them very close to him.

For instance, when Jesus asked a Samaritan woman for a drink, his disciples were shocked. Jews and Samaritans hate each other! The woman was shocked herself when she asked Jesus why he is talking to her even though she is a Samaritan. Jesus then stared teaching her! John 4:3-43

Another occassion is when a prostitute was about to get stoned to death and Jesus saved her after saying to the people after her “Let the one of YOU that is sinless be the first to throw a stone at her.” This can be found in John 8. He saved her from a sure death and she repented!

And when Jesus was invited to a dinner with the Pharisees, and another prostitute came rushing in and started washing Jesus' feet with perfume, Jesus didn't reject her, but he blessed her and she repented from her sins.

I believe that many women were drawn to Jesus due to his compassionate and loving soul. I bet that every girl would desire such a man. So I'm sure that Mary Magdalene would be drawn to Jesus due to his affection for women even though they were badly treated during that century.

Yes. Think of how easy it is to fall in love with someone who inspires you to be the best you can be, accepts you unconditionally, defend's you against others, etc. etc. I don't know why people get so upset by the possibility that they were in love with one another and could have had a relationship. I personally think if they were in love, it would be the most beautiful love story ever.

All the disciples were in love with Jesus, don't read too much into it though, she didn't have a crush on Him, none of them saw Jesus as human, but as the Messiah, none would for a moment look on Him as a mate or partner, then He wouldn't fit the role of Messiah.

Maybe and some theologians say that's why Jesus said to her on the day of His ressurection: Do not touch me!
Because He wanted her to understand Who He really is, not just love Him as an ordinary man.

Probably yes, but Jesus handled it well. He loved her in a pure way and didn't allow anything inappropriate to happen.

Whew...tough question. I think so, I guess not so much based on any overwhelming evidence, but I'm willing to think that based on their interactions, how could she not have been in love with him?
