I am a lesbian and I never refer to my girlfriend as my lover, and when I get married, I will never refer to her a my partner. Referring to her as my lover sounds like we are having some kind of secret forbidden affair. Referring to someone as my partner sounds like we're in business together. I thinks gays having to refer to the one they are with as a lover or partner only separates them more from mainstream. So, to all you fellow gays refer to your spouses only as boyfriend/girlfriends, and as husbands/wives. Does anyone agree?

For Christians and Believers?

If someone today said they had a vision from God, would you believe them? If that someone said that He commanded them to write a new bible, and spread His word through them, would you believe? Or would you think it was just another psycho who needed to be locked up?

Why does God and Satan come off sounding like our parents?

They both hate each other. Lie about each other. Can't live without each other. Can't stand each other? They both can't agree about anything and yet want the same thing. God wants a sin free world, and Satan wants a world of sin, but they both would equal a world free of guilt. God wouldn't punish you for being a saint, and Satan wouldn't punish you for being a sinner. You just choose what's best for you, what comes natural.
The basics: What God says the devil repeats, what God says about Satan, Satan throws back at God.

"I tell the truth"-God

All possibilities, get it right and you will go to heaven, get it wrong and you will go to Hell.

Am I the only one who thinks the 'Adam and Steve' argument is played out?

I'm a lesbian, so for me the Adam and Steve argument does not apply. Who else is getting tired of hearing that in almost every ignorant debate?
And another thing, if some people are so sick of hearing our debate or sick of us in general, why oh why do they keep showing up here just to tell us how sick we are and they we're going to hell?
Kind of funny, I think.

Shouldn't they approve the pentacle?

This has been going on for 9 years now. They're not approving the pentacle for soldiers memorial marker. It is a sign of their faith, and so many other religions are approved, so why not the pentacle? They say it's because it offends others, don't the other symbols offend others?
