I don't ascribe to any particular faith or philosophy. I think that all the ones I know have some answers, but none has all the answers, and each has it's weaknesses and logical errors. I could never put complete faith in one way of thinking or believing. But there are a lot of people out there who seem wholeheartedly committed to their faiths or beleif systems. And not to be rude, but to those people I must ask, what do you get out of it? And what makes you so damn sure?

New age beliefs taught by Dr. Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, etc. teaches us that we can indeed create our own reality using our thoughts. We can manifest anything in our life using the power of our intentions. We can manifest money, hapiness, prosperity, health, relationships, etc... using the power of our intention. If we intend something it will magically manifest. The idea stems from that we are part of God or God and that we have the power to create anything we desire. My question is that can you believe in creating what you desire and still be a christian, jew, or muslim? please explain

Do most people have healthy legs? do most girls have healthy legs? I would assume yes. I'm a guy and my legs are full of injuries, ligament damages, knee damage.. Am i the only one? So, i would never want girls to consider my legs sexy or anything.. i'm a piece of junk. So i'm wondering, since girls are seen as having sexy legs..do they have super resistant legs..they never seem to get tears or ligament damges, or nothing even if they join some kind of exercise.

Every time I see a sick question asked or a racist comment or perverted sicko talk about what he did to his dog or something, why do people ACTUALLY believe this, and give him real answers, like "i can't believe you would do that", LIKE THE PERSON REALLY DID... people just make this crap up.. .why do people even respond? I am just curious as to why people even ask questions like that, are they that lame???

I recently had an experience. I was walking around and suddenly some voice captured me, and there he was, Jesus, he spoke to me. Then, Irecogniced it was a voice of a passer by, but I knew it was Jesus who had spoken to me through this other guy. The great thing is that we are now best friends.

Of course, I am not advocating imposing and prostelizing our religions. I am just asking about more public ritual and more public literature and information regarding the peacefulness and love of many of our Pagan religions. Another important part is the integrity which seems to be missing in many christians. Emphasizing integrity for oneself is an important ingredient for happiness which breeds peace, acceptance and cooperation among others. How do we go about this? Any good ideas?

Our lease clearly states the procedure for dealing with after office-hours emergencies, it is a violation to disturb an employee who lives onsite after hours. Tenants still feel the need to knock at my door at midnight for maintenace issues. They can easily contact the rental office that is open 7 days a week or call our 24 hour emergency maintenace line. My family cannot get a restful night's sleep! How can I tactfully stop these people from knocking on my door?

Qur’an 5:51 “Believers, take not Jews and Christians for your friends.”.

and a Muslim posted that friends in that sentence is, " "awleyaa" which means leaders over you", does this mean that Muslims should not have non Muslim leaders? If so, does this mean that non Muslim minorities in Islamic countries cannot be elected to public office? Also, what does it mean for Muslims in non-Islamic countries? Does this verse mean that they should not follow the non Muslim government or try to establish an Islamic state?
