Hi freebass, i think most girls don't like it when you cry in front of them, it shows you're weak or something. I personally think women don't know what they want! first they want you to be more sensitive then they don't want you to be all that sensitive, They want you to be controlling but not all that controlling. It's just confusing. Anyways good luck!

If they are crying because of something like that, then yes. A tear here and there. If they are having a bad day or going through something rough, then yes. It's fine. Outright sobbing is NOT okay with me...no--I want my men to have a backbone.

My ex cried at everything. He cried at school when I clarified something in an authoritative tone (in the middle of lunch--right in front of everyone...my god...), he cried on the phone when he thought I was going to break up with him, and he even cried when I DID, eventually break up with him. So, yeah. If the guy is emotionally stable and cries for good reason, that's perfectly acceptable. If he's an emotional wreck, then no. Overly-sensitive guys are a major turn-off for me.

It depends.

If the guy is already macho and/or has a lot of money, he might be seen as sensitive. And only if it is regarding something really tragic, like the loss of a loved one. If the guy is the less-than-macho type and/or it is about his most recent break up, than probably not.

Play it safe. If you are a d00d, there is nothing wrong with crying, unless you get caught.

We don't care for the Homer Simpson's who cry because their shirt is inside out, but I don't mind a man who isn't afraid to cry over real stuff. Like when my fiancé knew that we'd have to be apart for 3 months because of my travels, I thought it was the sweeetest thing when he was trying to hide his tears and pretended to be tying his shoes at the airport.

My experience is that they are drawn to men who aren't afraid to cry. If you're a blubbering mess, though, that's not such a good thing.
