ok, this isn't easy for me to say. i've tried to avoid it, i hate it when other people say it, and try my best not to, i try to avoid the obligatory blogs, and such screaming it, but now i must admit it: I am bored. There, it sounds so whiny though, I've got half a mind to retract it. But the truth is, that i've got absolutely nothing to do at this current point in time. although i shouldn't have to be entertained every minute of the day....just tell me what i should do to resolve this situation. (by the way, so you get an idea of what i'm up against know that i read 210 pages BEFORE noon) thank you.

I tried asking a question related to electronics equipment and it took days to get just one answer. Is the religion category the most popular place where believers and non-believers like to hang out and exchange their point of view? Questions and answers seem to move pretty rapidly.

When I was an Atheist, it consumed most of my time. Most of my atheist friends thought about it all of the time also. Do you know many Atheists that are not thinking about religion a lot of the time? Do you find most Atheists think about religion in a bitter way (ie the world would be better without it, it promotes discrimination, etc)

in another question of mine, another person's answer made me think of this question:
If YOU believe in affirmative action, should the action stop when employee percentages equal societies percentages?
What about professional sports (it is a paying job too)?
Should blacks be limited to 14-18% of the participants?
and what about college scollarships? (Force academic schollarships to equal the general public, what about sports scollarships?)
ethnic groups are not regulated as to there size nor their location, so why try to FORCE every quantifiable segment of society to mirro the society as a whole?
for every EBONY and JET magazine, should we have IVORY, PEARL, LINNEN, SNOW, CLOUD and another 28 magazines dedicated to our 'racial' group? (thus equality is again balanced)

i dont dislike or hate athiests or anyone else in any way.when i see some of the things you write or think it doesnt make me mad.it makes me almost want to cry cause i want to be able to show u exactly how i feel and let u know that u dont have to live life hating the world or feeling all the pain u go through.there is going to be stuff in life that will hurt but thats why im soo committed to God,.He has been with me through every turn and the fact that im alive and here to write about it proves it.i love u all and even though u may think its weird or messed up im going to be prayng for you because i care wat happens to you.any one of you could have been me before i found God and as much as i want my brother to find Him i want u to find Him 2.love through Christ,nicole

I like the fact that the media has incorporated it into its story lines. I like the gay pride parade. I think that religion is the biggest negative influence regarding homosexuality. What else needs to be done to get rid of homophobia?

Just a little something I thought of while perusing the religion section--excellent trollage today, by the way:
1)Someone mocks your beliefs
2)You retaliate by mocking theirs, or you just let it go and realize everyone is entitled to their own opinion(and secretly laugh at them for being so misguided, because you have all the answers).
3)No bloodshed, live and let live--the most each party walks away with is a bruised ego.
Would this work?

I read that religious conservatives view it as bad, thinking it will say to kids that having sex is ok. So, would they rather let the girls who start early get cervical cancer from HPV when they could have stopped it? It's like those who believe if you don't talk about condoms in school, then kids won't have sex. I'd like to tell these people if the thought of getting AIDS isn't enough to keep kids from having sex, talking about condoms or giving a vaccine to help prevent cervical cancer isn't going to hurt. Can anyone explain the logic in this to me?
