Did you fabrage this whole story
when i visited the hermitage museum - for those who don't know it is the former palace of peter the great - in leningrad, i was surprised to find out that at one time they were the largest holder of fabrege eggs - beautiful duck and goose eggs implanted with amazing jewels.
but they had to sell off all of them to help pay for their war efforts.
