Psychology - August 2006

I do not take anything for depression, but I was just wondering how it would affect someone who is not depressed? Would it make them worse, better?

I always have this dream where I am moving into a new house. The dream changes every time - it's always a different house in a different location in each dream, and sometimes it's with my family, sometimes it's alone or with other people. They're usually pretty vivid. For example the other night I dreamt specifically about this massive grey stone house with high ceilings that my family and I were moving into, and I could see all the details of it really vividly.
Does it mean that I want change in my life or something? I've had so many of these dreams about moving over the years

Unfotunately yesterday I was in bed with flu - as was i today....

Now the thing is - I have ridiculuos dreams when I'm not feeling well - and was having a bit of a thinking-i-was-uma crisis after watching kill bill last night and I kind of karate kicked my cat against the wall (shame poor baby - she's fine though) and yelled in my sleep all night...

Now my husband keeps looking at me funny....

Does this happen to anyone else?

i have a friend who would cry at comments that would be so minor and she cried. to her she finds it so much that it hurt her. she was not trying to find attention tough. she would diseppear out of no where then she reappear. i ask her wher she went to but she never mention she cried and its so convincing cause i dont see that she look sad or eyes sollen until she told me lately that some comments would hurt her and she just sunddently cry and she cant seem to control it. she told me she had seen a specialist but it dont seem to work. any professional out there that could help my dearest friend. i know here since young and i never know this side of her.

In my dream, I saw one of my old friends (whom I haven't seen in a few years) chatting with my roommate outside of my apartment. When I went to greet him and shake his hand, he reciprocated but didn't seem interested in seeing me. He then turned away from me and walked back to his car without even conversing with me.

I doubt such an occurrence would happen in real life, as this person is one of the most outgoing and friendly people I have ever met. So why would his personality have taken an about-face in my dream? I don't get it.

Im a successful young dentist, im handsome, work is not so gr8 but im improving, have a diverse and rich mentality, have lots of friends, very succesful socially, a party bomb.....but ive had this fear since i was a child...im soooo scared of being abandoned...i cant help it, i hide this feeling very well, but it strikes me bad and kills me
any help would be appreciated
Plus i have a gorgeous girlfriend, but still im so scared of getting abandoned...maybe that what made me successful socially, i learnt how to keep people around me...but with fear inside me that they might abandon me someday
