I always have this dream where I am moving into a new house. The dream changes every time - it's always a different house in a different location in each dream, and sometimes it's with my family, sometimes it's alone or with other people. They're usually pretty vivid. For example the other night I dreamt specifically about this massive grey stone house with high ceilings that my family and I were moving into, and I could see all the details of it really vividly.
Does it mean that I want change in my life or something? I've had so many of these dreams about moving over the years

Dreams about death mean that you are ending one portion of your life and beginning another portion...

However, dreams of your type suggest that you are searching... You are unsettled where you are in your life and are looking for the next stage of your life.

Perhaps you are at an age in your life where you love your parents but feel that your views on life differ to the point that you may no longer be travelling on the same path.

This is common when it comes to the time in you life where you need to step out into the world and make your mark on it.

This time in your life I call "Transitional Conflict". Imagine two lines running side by side. One line is above the other line. The upper line is your parents. The lower line is you. During your youth, those lines run parrallel to each other. But this changes somewhere during the trasitional stage call the pre-teens.

The lower line begins to turn up wards as you begin to grow. There will be many conflicts, or differences of opinions. At some point, the two lines cross each other as you grow past the need of your parents. At the point where the two lines meet is where the conflict is strongest. Often, the conflicts will continue after the lines are no longer crossed and you are past the need of your parents. This will subside when you prove yourself totally self-dependant.

Part of the conflict is in you. You have the need for your own space. Your own rules to live by. Your own independance. However, you are still completely dependant on the parents you are trying to "escape" from.

Part of the conflict is in your parents. It is a sad time for a person when they realize that they are no longer needed. That reality isn't true, but it feels that way. Also remember that as you get older, so do your parents. They may feel their own youth is passing. They also experience the "Empty Nest" once you have gone on your way in life.

This feeling is common. It starts in your early teens and doesn't end until you come into your own. Keep in mind parents... When your child does come into their own dependance, you must shift your authority over them to becoming a friend for them. At some point, there will be the "big" break up. Even if only imagined, you will seek a reason to be done with living in the conditions you have to live in. Oddly enough, even children with silver spoons in their mouth will experience this same need.

Smart parents and children will recognize this situation and reconcile their frustrations with each other and develop are wonderful relationship.

Your dream is simply your need to grow beyond your present and into your future.

First and foremost, Freud said that dreams impel, they do not compel. Jung believed that dreams are the windows to your mind. And Alfred E. Newman thought that dreams were the negative dialectic to disjunctive confabulation.

With these three contributions to dream analysis in mind, your dream can mean only one thing: Leo is in the house of Aires, while Taurus is in a china shop.

Don't deal with abstrations. Become familiar with your surroundings as visual clues to your self-awareness. Abstractions can divert your attention to actualizing the positive and eliminating the negative.

Someone who has passed is trying to tell you an anecdote. Don't dote on the anecdote. Try to imagine the situation as happening on Halloween. The next day, the mask comes off, and you can see the true definition of the situation (Charles Cooley, University of Chicago, 1912). But, don't be disillusioned by concrete absurdities. Things can always change.

The bright side of the coin is in shadows for now. But, the sun will come out tomorrow. It's only a day away. But, after that day it will be Sunday, followed by Monday. Monday, so good that way. If you simply flip the coin, you'll see the situation from a different angle.

Don't give up the ship. And, don't fire 'til you see the whites of their eyes. The eyes, like dreams, are pathways to the cerebral cortex. Optic nerves never fall asleep. Consequently, we can see vivid images while we sleep. Sleep, perchance to dream. And, when you dream, so shall you prosper.

A dream is like a fortune cookie; only you can get more on it than you can on a little piece of rice paper.

New House = new life
Moving = changes, decision making.
Grey stone house with high ceilings = solid, and can be seen

You dream of moving frequently could mean that you are the person who is not stable in decision making. I don't think it literally means moving, or about changes in your life. I lean more into your decision making then changes in your life. Also, it all depends on your houses you are moving into. For example, Grey stone house with high ceilings can mean you want to be seen, you want your decision to be known, you want to show off somehow. Yes, it may be changes you want to make. However, you projected different houses, different location each dream. It is more like you are not stable into decision making in reality.

I could be wrong, but that is how I see from your dream

I'm not a dream expert but it sounds as if your "stuck" in some phase of your life somehow. Your intuition - your dream - is trying to tell you that making a change is ok. Nothin' ventured, nothin' gained.
