See, all those theories are actually incomplete and none of them can solve the mystery of the creation of the World. This is the mystery of God. Don't you find it to weird everything to be so perfect ? Maybe the human is an evolution of a monkey and the universe the result of a grand "BOOOOM...", but it was done because God said so.
That's, of course, my opinion. Have a nice day!

I'm afraid your molecular biology class wasn't up to much! Evolution does not state that life evolved from chimpanzees; it implies (and this has been verified beyond doubt by genetic analysis) that Humans (Homo Sapiens) and Chimpanzees (Pan Troglodytes) share a common ancestry.
Evolution is not a theory - although a lot of fundie Xtians love to call it such - it is an observed fact. There are various theories of evolution, explaining the mechanism by which the observed fact operates, just as there are theories to explain how gravity works (which doesn't make gravity itself a theory, it is an observed fact, like evolution) The widely accepted theory of evolution is natural selection.
The fuss arises in that this, together with modern cosmology, gives a naturalistic explanation of life that does not require a creator myth, and credophiles and theists, especially of Xtian persuasion, are really scared of facing up to that, so they prefer to deny reality.
BTW, the Catholic church accepted Big Bang some time ago.

God doesn't exist so it is a moot point. I'm not joking either. Only a fool could possibly believe in God. Especially when you consider how depending on where you are born your version of God differs dramatically to the point of not existing at all in some places.
We didn't evolve from Chimpanzees by the way. Humans were never monkeys, we are just similar species but our common ancestor wasn't a a chimp. If we waited billions of years chimps will never become human even if they do evolve into something that is as intelligent and can speak, it wont be a human.

I'm afraid what you were taught was completely wrong. A scientific theory is not a scientific fact. Evolution is only a theory and even Darwin himself was a Christian man who just put forward this theory which has been taken by so many to use as a fact.
As a Christian I don't care what you believe as long as you realise that God was the Creator of everything that exists. Yes, you will have the sceptics claiming that the world was not made in 6 days, however, I believe they were, but remember, in the beginning God created the Heavens and the Earth, there could be a million years in the very first verse of the Bible.
Also the further we look back into the past, we've discovered that man was as intelligent, if not moreso than today. The word day used in Genesis is considered to be 24 hours, but in Genesis 1verse 5, God Himself is said to divide day into smaller periods of time, calling the light portions as day, in Genesis 2 v 4 all the creative periods are called one day, This is a history of the Heavens and the Earth in the time of their being Created, in the day(all 6 creative periods of time) God made Heaven and Earth.
The Hebrew word YOHM is translated as "day" can mean many different lengths of time. We think of a day as 24 hours as I already stated, but in reality it also allows for periods much longer than the 24 hours as we think of them.
think about how we use the word day: i.e. in my father's 'day', or in Queen Victories 'day', or in Shakespeares 'day'. Morning and evening are also translated as beginning and ending of a period of time. They were not 24 hours as we know them. So 'evening and morning' is translated as the beginning and ending of a period of time. God began calling the light day and the darkness night. The Sun and Moon were in outer space, long before the 1st day. Also 'day', but their light did not reach the surface of the Earth for an earthly observer to see, now light evidently came to be visible on Earth as the 1st day!
I could go on and on, however, the Evolution theory is full of, maybe's, could have's, might have's etc. While the Biblical account of Creation is stated as fact throughout the Holy Bible.
Any Born-Again-Christian could tell you that. But what the Bible and Christian is telling us is, all that matters is faith in Jesus Christ, when you turn your life over to Him, all will be revealed to you.
More difficult for evolutionists theories, involve the origin of the genetic code, a requirement for cell reproduction. This rears the old saying, Which came first, "the chiken or the egg". But DNA cannot form without pre-existing protein, which raises the question, "which came first, the protein or the DNA". You cannot dismiss something without trying it first, and you can't dismiss God because you haven't had a personal relationship with Him. So what I'm saying is don't knock a thing untill you try it. God is real, He came to Earth as Jesus Christ to save us from our sins, to show us the way back to God. I will pray that you do indeed find Him, and not harden your heart towards Him.

The fuss is that some people think the idea of evolution and cosmology can't possibly exist at the same time that God is the creator of everything and the Biblical interpretation is fact. What most people forget, however, is that the Bible is teaching religious truths, not scientific truths. God being the creator of everything, he could have created the universe however he wished.

The only proof that God exists is when you ask Him to come into your life and have a personal relationship with Him through Jesus Christ who died on the cross to save you and me from a fate worse than death, which is the second death or the eternal death.
Through Jesus Christ you can have eternal life. Read Romans10:9&10 from the Bible and do what it says and you to can have a relationship with Him and eternal life. Don't forget the theory of evolution is what it says, a THEORY, no proof.

The fuss is because the theory of evolution gives a different version of our creation to that given in Genesis of the Bible - so how can you believe in the scientific theory of evolution AND in God ? Which is why many scientist profess to be atheists because they do not have the blind faith of believers in God.

My source includes a really thorough source on evolution, particularly worry-loose descent/macroevolution. A note, in spite of the reality that: one needs a lot more beneficial preparation then the classic creationist to appreciate all of it, because there is genuine technological awareness interior. relish. :) As for your action picture, i am going to exhibit screen it, yet i am going to renounce after I see or listen one logical fallacy or medical inaccuracy. enable's see how lengthy it lasts: ok, 25 seconds (lol) in (nevertheless area of the intro), it says "the very reality of introduction," it truly is blatantly pretend. not purely isn't introduction a reality, even if it won't be able to be, for technological awareness makes no contact upon the supernatural, and hence might want to not be used to help creationism, which be definition features a supernatural agent, to the point of being seen a "reality."

What you are really should be asking is a question about belief.
Belief in god/greater presence has nothing to do with evolution you can still be a great scientist and have moral values/beliefs.
Belief in god/greater presence has been turned into a power game by religionous groups.
Its really all about treating others the way you would want them to treat you.

You have gone down the road of an impossible argument here my friend.
You can never disprove the non-existence of god to a believer and you can never prove the existence of god to an atheist.
There will be many answers quoting the bible or quoting science but you know what, there is far more constructive ways to spend our time so I would ponder this debate, but ponder it with a tongue firmly placed in your cheek.
