A major roadblock in gays and lesbians getting the right to marry is the implication that they'll be granted full rights to raise children, but a great deal of people who are against gay marraige (who are wise enough to exclude religious implications, since no one cares about what God thinks anymore these days) are afraid that gays who raise children will raise them homosexual.

Has anyone yet thought of conducting an experiment where exceptionally young foster children are given into custody of gay, lesbian, and straight parents and their behavior and development is carefully monitored over the course of their lives? It's already upsetting to enough people that gays come out of straight homes, but don't we need to carefully study which household brings about which sexuality? If the results of the experiment follow no recognizable pattern, then it would be proven that sexuality of the children is NOT a result of the sexuality of the parents, and gays could be allowed to have kids.

If it was not God's plan to devise as such, then who made a huge nation like that next to a very tiny one? Why should Tuvalu not try expand as big as China, and why should China not expand until no other countries exist to make complaint about injustice? Until now all world's affairs are solved based on Conventions, so should the UN hold a global conference to make the world an earth country (to avoid war of invasion) and to make all provinces as small as Tuvalu (to observe justice)?

now first hand, I DO GO TO A CATHOLIC SCHOOL! It seems like just because they teach religion, everyone is an annoying prep. It's so goddam uptight. It makes no sense. Can someone clear up why?

Why do we continue to base on that wrong concept of the moving sun to make distinction between east and west? If I say I am residing in the west, how can you tell I am exactly on what part of the world?
It seems that, I am living in the west of the countries which started to see the fixed light of the sun over 23 hours before mine.
And it seems that we don't follow any truth, but we only follow conventions. But many people keep on telling that truth is based on what they see like the sun (which they can never touch!). Because conventions are not eternal truth (like national constitutions), so we have to rewrite them more and more often. And finally, we base on what truth to act as dictators (who claim to hold the truth!) or as supporters of a dictator (who claim to follow the truth!)? If there were no truth, how would we seek consensus to make new conventions? If we could not make new conventions to suit this global time, should intelligent beings accept to live under anarchy?
