If i met Cho before the shooting. I would think he was the "never fit in" type of kid. All through his life since he moved to America at.. 8 years old i believe.. he never fit in. I would think he's the type that just tried to hard too "be cool" and everyone just found his lame attempts disgusting, either making fun of him all the time or just ignoring him. I know you guys have to have at least known one of those types.

Why is it that when gas prices are decreasing, they go down like 2 cents a week but when they are increasing, it goes up 20 cents every 3 days. When are we going to switch to some alternative fuel and stop relying on petroleum? What ever happened to hydro power. And please don't blame the cost per barrel because I heard that the US has about a 6 month supply of oil so gas shouldn't go up so quickly just because the cost per barrel went up.

I have no job. I've been unemployed for nearly 3 years. I live in urban Detroit. I am going to a community college for Information Technology. I have $300 in the bank and my fiance has around $500. It's hard to find work here and without work, I can't get an apartment or car. I am seriously considering just picking up and moving. Any thoughts?

The reason why is because I'm buying a car worth around 2.3M php, which is around $48k right now, given the current exchange rate, which is Php48 = 1 USD.

My whole savings account is in U.S. Dollars.

If the dollar was at 52 pesos to a dollar, that would bring the total down to $44,230. Thats a big difference of $3,500!

How will the Philippines exchange rate be after the May senatorial elections?

Don't people realize that raising the minimum wage hurts the middle class and those who have already retired?

If you make more than the minimum wage, they don't adjust your pay up the same amount as those who were making minimum wage... thereby making the products that use minimum wage labor cost more (you don't think the manufacturer or employer are just going to eat this charge - do you?)...and increasing the cost of goods. An increase in the cost of goods makes your over-minimum-wage paycheck worth less and brings you closer to those in the lowest earning segment of the population.
The thing that really gets me is why seniors don't get up in arms about those who want to raise the minimum wage. Those dollars they put away in the 50's and 60's are worth less and less as they raise the cost of goods. (That dollar they put away in the 1950's would buy a whole meal for 2 people at McDonalds.)
I just don't see how people don't see thru the forcing of people into a two class society.

im thinking about writing about the racial inequality in the United States and Im going to use the racial wealth gap as example. Statistics show that racial minorities have higher unemplyment rates and lower average incomes. Is discrimation the ony thing to blame? Or are the racial minorities responsible for it also?
