Class warfare is possible only if people are intelligent and willful. Shouldn't we destroy all modern inventions and get back to hair pulling, rock throwing and agree to never allow inventions again?

Isn't it true that the national debt doesn't really hurt the economy, or was Ross Perot right after all? Can't we borrow as much money as we want to? Does the national debt really hurt the strength of the US dollar? Does it harm the economy in any other way?

Us old retirees, living on fixed incomes could certainly use some tax free money to help pay for our ever increasing costs for medications, deductibles, etc.
This is a classic case of big brother playing games with a tax system that is both rotten and obscene.

See we at the lower levels are getting a bigger break than we are led to believe by the democrats, also look at the economy its banging. Taxes will slow that down as more money flows into the Government pockets. That generally causes a slow down in economic groth thus yeilding less sales of goods and a down turn in economic growth.

So what other effects will this slow down cause?

There is poverty and hunger in this country, as well as other countries world-wide. If these countries cannot solve their own problems with it, how can it be solved by expanding it to countries outside of their own? Can we justify letting people in their own countries go without, with a grand gesture of trying to help everyone world-wide? I'm sure the rationality is to pool resources and hope everyone benefits, but we've seen that before, and in the end it just doesn't work. Sustaining people with food has always been a 'band-aid,' but the cure seems to still be elusive.

Even at that it is still poverty, but at least it would help alot of people. I see so many people struggling week to week and still not have enough. Can you imagine having rent, children and everything that comes along with it and only making around $6.00 an hour BEFORE taxes? This is scary?
