In WW2, gas was rationed to reduce demand for rubber for non defense tires.
In this period that is leading the US surely into being dominated by oil producing foreigners we could stand to be rationed to reduce the demand for foreign oil and the tremdous movement of dollars to our enemies who then use those dollars to buy property, companies and politicians to our ultimate subjugation.

that we will see big discounts on cars and merchandise?I mean a chinese worker gets a dollar an hr compared to $28 dollars an hr in the U.S.to build a car, that means that cars will be 50% cheaper to buy now or will they just be ripping us off anyways. How about everybody stop buying cars for a year and piss them all off. Stop buying gas for a week, Corporate america is digging hole for bankruptcy.Take money out of there pockets and watch them squirm like all these people out of work.I think we should do it and watch them lose there a ss.Give them a taste of there own medicine. Dont buy nothing for a week or cars for a year.

This question is about how Budgeting works-
How can extra revenue be found to fund its future spending needs (e.g. raising taxes– if so, what type)? Are there other alternative sources of revenue?
-Country is semi developed, so less spending on new infrastructure, more on maintenance and law and order.
