What percentages do you think are from increased computerization and/or automation, innovative accounting practices, improved logistics (shipping, inventory control, etc.,) or increased coercion of salaried workers to work unpaid overtime and forfiet allotted vacation/holiday time?

(coercion may be overt, i.e. threaten loss of job, or indirect, i.e. threaten advancement)

Speculation on any other factors in US worker productivity would be welcome.

I hear Islamic law says interest should not be charged in principle.
Is this true?
Whether it is or not, is it a good or bad thing.
Please keep answers simple I am not an economist and won't get too much jargon. Thank you.

In different parts of Asia and Europe, there were different coloquill languages were existed. And each tribe spoke with its own flavour and with their own vocabulary. They regarded them as their own part of culture and revered them and protect them. In some parts of ancient india, sanskrit regarded as upperclass language. And prohibhited others from studying, teaching and speaking. The same thing were existed in Red indians also, But i did not find this type of narrow view in the case of developmental stage of english world wide. thanks for English imperialism.

the financial package from developed nations like uk, usa, japan etc. proved to be failed utterly in eradicating poverty in the countries like africa. Recently the debt-write off initiative of the above said developed nations also doing nothing in the prospectiv e of these debt ridden & starved third world nations. so why not the international communities help them to install a agricultural oriented developmental strategy for its food safety & secondly for creating food surplus for other economic activity.

Most European countries don't make but around 1.5 trillion, compared to the United States 12.7 trillion. Why must we borrow so much money, and why are we in such debt? I also don't understand if this is true, why we don't have that much better health care for our citizens, or higher quality of standards? Where does it all go?

For example, is there any point in teaching people not to drop litter- if no-one dropped any litter, street sweepers would all be out of work. Is it reasonable to argue that creating problems is fine because people can make money solving the problem?

The book doesn't really give me much information on this phrase. Karl Marx uses so many different terms and euphemisms when describing the Capitalist system that it's impossible to tell what he's trying to get at. Valorization is another example.

Proponents of conservative economic thinking advance theories that sound nice and elegant, but I have never seen any data that backs up the idea that giving more wealth to the wealthy stimulates the economy and makes everyone better off. Does anyone have iron-clad evidence that this social experiment has done anything other than advance the fortunes of the fortunate?
