Of course not. India's economy is less than 1/5 the size of Japan's. Meanwhile China's GDP is 3x that of India and widening the gap. Even ignoring China -- figure in the best possible case India can double its economy every 10 years, it is still 30 years from catching up to (a slow-growing) Japan.

Even If you add 10 more years to 2010, India will remain one of the poorest countries in the world based on per capita income. However, it has a very bright future only if it stays away from israel.
