GDP per capita is simply:

GDP/number of people living in the country

Literally, the amount of GDP assigned to each person.


The country with the highest GDP, I believe is Luxemborg. This number is skewed because of the very small population. The US is #2; with several Scandanavian countries right behind.

GDP is gross domestic product. ..not sure which country has highest.
