I have seen several evolution-related questions on Y!A, but the answerers almost always seem to get distracted by religion, even when nobody asked about their beliefs. This question is for everyone, no matter what their beliefs are, but I want you to explain what evolution is without going on about religious matters. I would also like you to answer this without "cutting and pasting" from wikipedia or other googled sources.

we speak on scriptures and passages through the Bible from what we learned as children, but why are there so many versions. The Koran, the Living Word, King James and David's version, the Book of Mormons, the latter-saints of Jesus Christ, etc. If the Bible is to be the place to go for knowledge, why should we trust it, because someone told you too?

Can I do the required test done without moving out of Chennai India ? How expensive is this ? How reliable is it ? Can I trace back my ancestory to 10 generations atleast ? What is the DNA test all about which is connected to this ? How many have done this test ? Is there anthropological correlation ? Is it only for males or for females too ? Is it possible to know a heridiatary disease suffered by the previous genrations that may reoccur ? How does the lab which does this sustain itself ? Our government has continually failed the people for as long as I've paid attention (15 years or so now). We are plagued by the inability to learn from our mistakes. There are many who wish this was different and have no idea how to accomplish change. If a major secessionist movement were to begin, would there be a Civil War, and why or why not?

Is their a certain look, or pheromone I give off to sexual predators? It seems when I am at the lowest level of energy or feel inadequate this happens...I isoltae myself from people...I read whether it is in public or at a restuarunt. I am alwasy getting hit on by the wrong guys...or some nasty prick is standing behind the resturaunt with his "thang" out. When I extremely exhausted from working out at the gym or something of the sort thats when some guy sits in front of me at a bar & grill and sort of grab himself slightly....I try not to look all the hot sometimes but since I am afflicted with entities, it is almost impossible for that NOt to happen...

Can anyone help me?

Because if you look at the Asian facial features and body structure. And the uncanny adaptablity to their counter parts as far as technology, customs etc. They are more likely to be the ancestry of them. Possible?
