Our minds use anger
as a memory of a hurt
that we have experienced.
When we are psychologically "abused" as a child and our dad was a control freak but the public couldn't see it as it was subliminal, how do we overcome the anger incurred in those precious first 5 years. ?

I am a guy and i have been doing quite well in understanding people with their behaviour.

But this doesn't work well with women. From their behaviour it is very difficult to understand what's on their mind.

Does this mean women's behavior is more contradictory with what they think, than men.

Do you have similar experiences??

my reason for asking is because there are cases where physical abuse ,ie g.b.h ....there are cases of breech of the peace ,but has there ever been a case that consists of mental abuse gone to court and if so was it difficult to prove it ??

I don't think so. Those left-wing hippy type people who always think that we can create some stupid utopia are seriously on drugs (besides the weed they already smoke). Communism cannot work because people are inherently selfish.

Hi, I have always been a very emotional person throughout my life. I wouldn't change because I like being that way, although sometimes it can make life a little difficult, i.e the emotions take over. Someone once said to me, you can channel your emotions in a positive way. Can anyone explain this concept to me further?

With all of the kidnappings, online predator shows, abuses, murders and rapes, how long is it going to take for this nation to come to the realization that we have got to take the reponsibility to protect not only our own children, but to watch out for others as well? Too many of the stories that you read or see on television about a child being hurt in some way, also has adults who suspected but did nothing. Adults who saw something that didn't look right, but turned away. Will we ever learn?

Yesterday I stopped to help a woman, about 25 years old, not very attractive, who had a flat tire and a flat spare tire. I immediately got out of my truck and grabbed my tank of compressed air. I walked up to her and asked if she needed some air for her spare. She said yes, and then I noticed she had a bumper sticker that said "women who seek only to be equal to men lack ambition". I asked her if it was her car and she said yes. I replied that I came prepared, why didn't she ? Aren't you ambitious enough ? I turned around and left. She gave me the finger as I drove off. I ignored it.

I kinda felt bad later, like I should have helped her even if she is sexist, but I really just couldn't go through with being the man performing the man's role for a woman who refuses hers !

I sincerely hope she gives it some thought, but probably not. She likely will just hate men more because I held her accountable for her actions.

I've don't really have alot of friends, especially close friends. I never felt like i fit in anywhere. I don't know that many people at school, so everyday its really boring. I feel really left out watching others socialize.

Sometimes I do get invited to hang out with a group of people, but I feel like I can't contribute in discussions. Am I just too used to being alone that now I'm not used to interacting with people? I remember going to a bonfire once and just sitting there most of the time not talking with anyone. I don't know how to open up and be outgoing or fun. Sometimes I feel worse showing up to social events than staying home. I can feel left out even though I'm surrounded by people. All I really do is smile because I usually have nothing to say.

I don't know what to do, can anyone give me some suggestions? I've been really unhappy lately.

Some days b4 I & My friend had a debate, no its an intersting discussiOn.
Some are trhinking "Heart is the Mind. We both say that Heart is nOt Mind. It is a part of Our body which pumps bLood. "

And My friend is sayin "Mind & Brain are bOth singLe thing nOt 2 things. Mind is a a functiOn of brain. All the process Of mind happens inside Brain. So there is nO mind. All that exist is Brain. "

I said him "Mind & Braing are bOth seperate 2 things. But bOth are intercOnnected. Brain has a physical image. Mind is virual not phisicaLy touchabLe part."

And I can say that mind is simiLar tO our Life. We cant see it, but it exist sOmewhre in side OurseLves.

I want expalinatiOn with good prooves frOM psycological Or Scientifical aspects.

I've been a feminist prochoice pro-ERA man for a few decades now. I recently ignited a discussion (not the 1st, I've been curtly told) about a man's right to choose in cases of unwanted pregnancy. Shocked to my core by many feminists' rather heartless, even nasty & hateful, answers to my questions, I am left wondering what feminism means to you?

As the feminist who taught me said.

"Feminism is about self- determination. Its me and its my body. I take responsibility for what goes into my body be it food or an unprotected penis. If I depend upon someone else (a man) I am surrendering my fate to him. I am the one who gets pregnant not him. I am the one who must suffer birth. Not him. My body changes not his.
I am the one responsible for that child not him. I will not entrust my fate to another. I can only lose. If we agree to a partnership, fine. If not, fine. Its my decision not his.
And similarly I will not decide for him."
That's a feminist, if you ask me.
I'm asking you?

Hypothetical situation of course. Assume money was no longer needed for anything. Everything was "free", with the exception you are only allowed as much as needed to get through the day / week. This would in turn, abolish poverty. However, people still need to work so that the world could function. You would still be required to work 40 hours a week at your job so that the community can still function and provide for itself. Not really a question, but just an odd thought ive had that i felt the need to share.

I know some of you have seen the commercial on tv about a hair product featuring blondes vs. brunettes. What if it was flipped and a commercial was featuring dark skin vs. light skin black women. Would it be accepted? Would it cause chaos and controversy? If it's okay for the blonde and brunette feud, shouldn't it be okay to feature dark skin vs. light skin feud in a commercial? Or is it not okay and more disturbing then the blonde and brunette feud? Is judging hair color less offensive then judging skin color. I would love for the blondes, brunettes, and black women to provide their input. How do you all feel about the feud?

Infants stun scientists with ‘amazing' insights
Babies only look clueless — they know a lot more than you think

Recently, scientists have learned the following:

At a few days old, infants can pick out their native tongue from a foreign one.
At 4 or 5 months, infants can lip read, matching faces on silent videos to "ee" and "ah" sounds.
Infants can recognize the consonants and vowels of all languages on Earth, and they can hear the difference between foreign language sounds that elude most adults.

Infants in their first six months can tell the difference between two monkey faces that an older person would say are identical, and they can match calls that monkeys make with pictures of their faces.
Infants are rhythm experts, capable of differentiating between the beats of their culture and another.
