Im 9th grader, I dont have any friends, I only stand by groups and listen in. I dont get the jokes, I feel like a robot, seriously is this complicated to interact w/ other people, I dont want to hang out with stupid people. I have trouble talking to people, DOnt know what to say? Making friends is way harder than calculations, scientific studies that I have.

Im not a nerd, its just that, I dont hang out with people, cause im academicly going for my college Med. Degree. No anything else. I would use a companys along the GREAT JOURNEY.

Thoughts?

I agree with you some people are stupid and I guess I understand you but sometimes you can't judge people just by looking at them sometimes you have to get to know them then you can decide if you wan't to dump them. Maybe you need to switch schools people do vary from places to places
If you go to anew school you can start out fresh
I SOMETIMES had the same problem

maybe we'll meet when I become a famous architect slash zooologist

You must be a very serious person.... That does not make you bad or to good either. But you must lighten up, life is not always so serious. You are still young and must enjoy something!!!! Life is to short to be all business. I mean Medical Physicians laugh at a lot of things. They like jokes if your going to be a a doctor you better have a lot of humor or you;ll never make it. Maybe your just not hanging out with the people you should be. Not everybody fits in everywhere. You don't have to talk a lot but listen and try to find humor in things, it is all around you! Look in the mirror, just look into your own eyes, smile, just keep smiling. Do this everyday it will grow on you!!!!!!!!!!!!! A smile says a lot about a person and seems to be a natural attraction. You will have many more opportunities to make friends if you are not afraid to smile.

Mukluk, you in Alaska or what? sounds like an Alaskan name. Sounds like you can really think and figure things out but when it comes time to interact you freeze up. Find someone you can relate to and open up and then start talking in groups of 2 or 3 and it'll build up. Go slow and you'll get there. You realize where you are. Don't worry about mistakes and don't get overly worried when you make mistakes. Other kids will always make fun of others who make mistakes. Talk to your school counselor, if need be. He/She may put you in touch with others in the same boat. It's always good to have a friend along the way, ay?

i am the same way (besides the med. degree in college) im a 10th grader who has the same problems... i have come to conclude that humanity is worthless and there is no hope for the human race, by saying this we are all pathetic and must die someday whether happy or not, it doesn't matter you stand alone in this world no matter what the population of friends you may have...

you could possibly have schizotypal personality disorder, which is also a latent form of schizophrenia, sorry, I'm just guessing, I'm not trying to make you frightened. Here are some things that are present in schizotypal PD's

Ideas of reference ( you think anything someone says is about you)

Odd Beliefs or Magical thinking which usually influences your behavior

Unusual perceptual experiences, including bodily illusions

Inappropriate or constricted affect: Affect refers to your outward expression of emtions

Odd/Eccentric dressing/appearance

LACK of CLOSE of FRIENDS or CONFIDANTS besides immediate relatives, but DESIRES those interpersonal relationships.

EXCESSIVE social anxiety that tends to be associated with paranoid fears.

or you could just have SOCIAL PHOBIA, not sure I'd need more info

Mabye you should stop judging those around you and focus on the good things. Maybe you should tell yourself its ok to act a bit silly sometimes. You can not find a person exactly like you, but you can find someone who although can be different, and have similar interest.
