Recently, I feel lazy going to school and when I go, I feel that every lesson is nonsense and that Its useless to learn those things and I ask myself, why should I learn all those? I also feel that my major, Marketing is not the one for me and I`m even thinking of quitting school and just get ajob, but then I know my parents wouldnt let me do that. It`s just I feel that school is suffocating and that i`m so tired of doing this and that. Even at home I`m lazy to even help in cleaning the house and all that stuff.

I was pretty much depressed tha past few months because of a recent breakup, you know personal problems.

Please help me come up with ways to overcome this. Thanks.

I'm a very kind person, but at the same time, I focus a lot on myself. This often gets me into trouble. How can I stop thinking about myself, and what others may think of me?

I always expect the worst; from the quality of my work, to the difficulty of new topics. It gets me really anxious, and worked up in a bad way.
How can I get really high grades, without tremendous worry?

when someone you loved and cared about and still care about wants absolutly nothing to do with you?? This person was definitly in the wrong but I was forgiving, yet the person cant seem to talk to me and now told me doesnt' want me in their life. :( Is it shame? Even though this person is at fault, I feel very bad, and nothing I say seems to matter. I feel a void in my heart. Noone has ever been this way towards me and I hate this feeling, my feelings are hurt. Like I was wrong, and deserve to be punished. How do you cope? I feel like someone died. :(( Anyone been thru something like this or can relate? Why is this person acting this way?

Are there any recent cases where fathers dont let their daughters date or love any other men? If so did that affect their love life when the father died or if they moved away from their father? Any examples would be greatly appreciated.

I recently had a discussion with a class of mine about the construction of time. This was spurred on by the recent legislation that passed allowing daylight savings time to be moved a month ahead for 2007. On average, our bodies run on a 25 hour schedule, yet we use the 24 hour system (which is inconsistent) based upon the Earth's relative position with the sun. What I am proposing is this. Adopting a 28 hour day and a six day week. I believe that with 20 usable hours in the day and 8 hours alloted for sleep. I know that this would work for me, but I'm not so sure about everyone else in the world, so I thought I would ask. What do you think about having 28 hour days and 6 day weeks? Oh, by the way, this question does not take into account vitamin effeciencies of a 24 hour day.

I feel very nervous when speaking to people and shy this is why I rarely go out and don't have lots of friends and not a job. I feel more shy with the opposite sex also but I feel I just can't socalise with people with out being nervous usually and disinterested in them.
I also think people judge me in a poor way which i believe is true due to life experience.

I also have acne which makes me feel depressed. I have episodes where im ok and episodes where i am not ok, which can last weeks some times.

I find day to day tasks very hard and cannot go to sleep early but very late which results in me waking up later.

I feel trapped!

I would say at least 50% of the world drink alcohol after a hard days work. A drink is like a fresh breath of air after you come from a hard day's work. Why does the world always mistake the word 'drink' for 'drunk'. The distance between the wovels 'i' and 'u' is far sufficient to understand.

This lady is a very nice lady and we work together and have known each other for sometime now. She and I were talking one night, and she just came out and asked me questions about my dad. What he liked to wear, what he actually looked like, what he liked to do, etc. She even told me about my loud aunt, and also about what happened to a cousin of mine. She was hoping I wouldnt think she is weird, but I do, or it just freaked me out a little. I am not sure to believe her, I dont know why, I just dont know what to do? Should I be her friend still and just stay away or what?

It used to be when one was hurting, there would be support for that person and encouragement for the one to be above it. Nowadays, the problem creator is being praised while the rest of these hurt ones are being blamed, insulted, told to "Get over it," "Stop your whining," "Get a life," and on and on it goes.
When are people going to start taking responsibilties for the hurt they've caused?

I, and others like me, don't want pity or deserve to be criticised for what someone else does to us. Have a heart for the hurt and stop the perpetrator.

I'm not whining or bi***ing, just for making an observing point.
No negative responses, please.
