Stuck in the washing machine looks like she is trying to climb into it to hide?
Strange question I know, but I saw a cartoon picture of someone in a washing machine peering out with a fearfull face, it made me laugh coz it reminded me of an average woman who had had enough of chores, kids, bills etc! I have never seen the picture again....should have brought it at the time! Has anyone else seen that pic, if they have, how did it inspire you?

Husband says cosmetic surgery is too expensive - and I cannot pursue or debate this with him, I haven't the energy anymore. He doesn't understand... which, for reasons I won't say here, is EXTREMELY ironic. He says 'I'm beautiful'... his opinion doesn't matter... not in my mind's eye... I'm too tired to explain this to him, money is all he cares about anyway... I mean, who cares if I can't look in the mirror, right? I guess the bright side is that self-loathing is free...

So now, I have to reconcile myself to living with an appearance I HATE. I cannot stand the way I look. How do I fix this?

I'm starting to wonder whether these mammals returned to the sea from the land. And whether man's affinity with water and these creatures could undermine Darwinian theories of evolution with respect to humankind.

im 29 and i long to find someone to love me. im so isolated and alone all the time. my small, 1 bedroom flat is like a small empty cave, dark an empty. i have no friends to turn to..i feel like i live on the fringes of society, i cant work because of my dibilitating symptoms, high levels of anxiety constantly, feelings of inner rage and bitterness. when i go out i feel very paranoid, like all eyes are watching me, i become disorientated, feel detached from reality, and i feel angry at people, because my lifes worthless, empty, and unfullfilling. and everybody looks like there getting there needs met and that there happy and smiling..watching that makes me feel even more alone and isolated with my life. im awaiting a second opinion from a psychiatrist, because i feel i may have a mental illness a mood disorder or psychosis..ive never had any kind of a life since 16. im ageing very fast i have two missing teeth, front bottom lower teeth..im a mess. my lifes a mess. the girl from canada

Is there a confidential listener that a teen can go to to speak in confidence about trouble at home, without repurcussion? Teens want to confide and download problems without, in turn, someone coming and talking to the offending parent(s). I'm interested in Santa Cruz County, CA. All sources I'm famiar with are required by law to report abuse. There are teens who won't come forward because of this - but desparately need that listening ear. This is for emotional and physical abuse, not just sexual.

assuming a tramp has about the same amount of history as the prostitute ,but doesn't get paid for her services...or say that the prostitute doesn't get all that much bussiness ,but the tramp's average sized list tends to hit the gossip line more frequently than most because of the range of her partners and varying escapades.

I'm not sure why, but I know it's interfering. Generally speaking, I am a motivated, down to earth, problem solving type of person. Lately, however, about since the holidays or so, I've gotten so un-motivated it's not even funny. It's dragging on long enough that it's starting to worry me. Lack of motivation has never been much of a problem for me, and while it seems simple at first passing glance (just buckle down and get you crap done), it's an unbelievable impediment. I just got a full time job, I'm approaching a major milestone in my college education (not graduation, but let's say about the mid-way point), and I'm living on my own. I'm having trouble concentrating at work, falling behind on paperwork, filing is piling up. My classes aren't going so well either.. I have a B in one (Not a great grade for me), and currently a D in the other. I've spoken with my professor, I can pull the D up to an A, I'm just having trouble getting myself to just study. How have you dealt with this?
