I'm an outgoing person, especially 1 on 1, but incredibly shy sometimes.
I flirt, but I hide from you.
I know what I should do, and can never bring myself to do it.
I'm courageous for others, but never stand up for myself.
I show love and only secretly hope for it. Not expect, hope.
I have tons of amazing friends, but I've never felt lonelier.
I'm happy but I frown.
And vice versa.

I feel like I'm slipping away. I feel completely disconnected. I'm numb. I don't want to be numb.

And now I'm rambling to strangers on the internet.

Help me?

Is it because they are a minority? In ten years when whites are the minority can we scream "White Pride"? I cannot help it that whites 200 years ago enslaved blacks, and gassed 6 million Jews or killed 9 million Indians. I feel just as proud as Hispanics because my people have invented almost everything and we treat women respect.

Can someone chemically dependent on alcohol beat the addiction, but still be a social drinker, or do they need to stay off the "juice" to overcome alcoholism? Personal stories a plus. Please no links to wikipedia.

Ask yourself, why is it that millions of Asians immigrate to European nations, but barely any Europeans immigrate to Asian nations? Why are Europeans more evolved? We have better governments, and we treat women better than Asian countries. Africa also.

it was fragmented first i was eating lunch and the man next to me was eating a plate of small apples...the next scene i ws running down the street next to a girl on her bicycle. we stopped at all the stop signs and i think some water was chasing us. Then we ran into a woods where the was a trailor and a VERY LARGE dog chained up the dog paced us as we ran then cut throught the woods and broke his chain. he was barking but when we stopped running he rolled over on his back so i could rub his belly. he was a black dog with brown markings.

i'm learning to be a high school art teacher. i'm currently doing an observation of a classroom with a partner from my university program. the problem is my partner.

my partner is a major slacker. when he should be interacting with students or practicing teaching in front of the class, he hides in the back of the class and/or uses the time to do his homework. he dresses inappropriately, and just agrees with anything i want to do on projects where we are supposed to share responsibility.

i've talked to my advisor about it. but when my advisor comes to observe the class, he does all of the things he should have been doing all along, so noone else will notice that he's such a slacker.

how do you deal with someone like that, who's irritating you to death?

Ok so last year my friend angela read my diary, and admitted to it. then this year, i had a very private entry that she knew about. it was on a solitary piece of paper. she said she had to go to the bathroom, and something made me look beside me. the entry was gone! i knocked on the door and asked if she'd seen it but she didn't seem to hear me. when she came out she played innocent (maybe she is...?) and helped me look for it. i went into the bathroom to look, and she seemed kind of nervous. then she said she had to go to the bathroom again. she put the vent on, but i thought i heard paper rustling in there. and she never puts that vent on? coincidence?
then she went to get her book from downstairs, and i found the entry in the bathroom. how did it get there?
there was a wet mark on it.
i confronted her and before i even finished the question she denied it.
she said that he dog had probably carried it into the bathroom, hence the wet mark.
i was kind of doubtful, but let it go

Is there a researched psychological condition whereas the subject feels very confident in their own abilities, but has no confidence that others will see that in them? Like they know they are "good enough" but cannot fathom others seeing it in them? What would that be called?

Also, any good websites for psychological database sort of things...Kinda a run down of the major work in psych?
