Listen, I'm not here to give you another answer. First of all stop following those long long replies and answers. This will only lead to extra-thinking process and may take lot of time to find out the solution. Focus on yourself...like, what are your priorities as of today? ... like, Are you doing enough for your priorities as of today or at this stage of life ? ... or may be, you don't have priorities and so mind is kind of losing direction or may be you are not able to follow or achieve something.
Once you have your answers...sit down and make a list. Sort the top three priorities and first work just upon them. Dont plan too much. Remember if we lose direction of thinking process, that's the starting point of all stress in this modern world. Any genius can easily be distracted or be lost in this complex society and world of today.
Success !

Stress is one of the big KILLERS in the USA and elsewhere. Stress causes cancer, tumors, and all sorts of diseases. You can relax your stomach by taking ginger root. I get mine from the 99c Store but you can also get it for about twice as much from a grocery store such as Von's, Safeway, and possibly Stater Bros. Probably at Health Stores too. If you want to relax try ONE capsule of Chamomile. TWo caps might make you too sleepy. Three will usually knock most people out in time. You might delve into your psyche and see what is CAUSING the problem too. Although, I think I know and you probably do too. You just have to live with that and just be happy with who you are and the heck with what everyone else thinks. YOU are the God of Your World and it doesn't matter what other people think. Don't feel bad. I'm trying to hang on to my house and going thru bankruptcy and have so much paperwork to fill out I almost feel that the work load was less in college but in looking back ... perhaps not. At least I don't have to do a book report EACH week but then Y/A has me writing as much or more sooooo ..... hmmm . Try the Chamomile and ginger root. Ginger is great for keeping colds at bay too and stress causes a lot of colds. Feel free to email whenever you feel overwhelmed. I always like being able to use my psych knowledge from college whenever I can but I've been through SO MANY things in my life I find it hard to believe that you could come up with something that I have not experienced. :-) Peace y'all

The slow breathing idea is a good one. Find yourself a quiet place, and if you have an oil-burner, use some uplifting relaxing essential oils (a clary-sage lavendar and geranium blend will work wonders) - if not, try getting hold of one - it's amazing what a difference the right blend of essential oils can do for your mood - don't forget to put water in the dish first though, as they'll burn and go yucky rather than evaporating, if you don't. If you have some relaxing music put that on, and sit on a comfy chair, with your hands on your knees, head supported by a pillow or cushion, and feet slightly apart, legs parallel, and your eyes closed. Concentrate on your different limbs and deliberately tense then relax them in turn. You should feel very relaxed after than. Concentrate on the fact that you feel relaxed, and then start the breathing exercises. Breathe in to a slow count of five, visualising the air you breathe in as being light, golden or a rainbow. See the air as positive energy flowing into your body. Hold the breath for another slow count of five, visualising that good air and positive energy travelling into your blood through your lungs, and permeating your whole body. Then breathe out again to a slow count of five, picturing the air you breathe out as bad, used air, and negative energy. Keep doing this until you feel very tranquil, and the slow breathing pattern is natural and you don't have to concentrate on it anymore. Now, think of a place where you have felt safe happy and completely at peace. In your mind, make the journey to that place from a place nearby. Imagine it's a warm sunny day, the smell of the summer breeze lifts you as you walk slowly and effortlessly to your special place. Every step you take makes you feel more at peace and tranquil, as you get closer to your happy place. Imagine the journey, then when you arrive there in your imagination, go and sit or lie down in a comfy place, and enjoy the feeling of stillness and peace, warmth and happiness. There are people nearby, but not in the room with you, and you've nothing to worry about. Stay there awhile, then either bring yourself gently back to the room you're in, or let yourself drift off to sleep (best not to sleep if you've put an oil burner on though!). When you come to, you should feel refreshed, positive and very relaxed. Sometimes it helps just to feel relaxed for a while when life's stressing you out, as you know you CAN feel good and not stressed, so it doesn't get on top of you as much.
I'd also recommend Tai Chi as a way of getting some harmony and reducing your stress. Your college may run classes in this, and you may find it helpful.
Best of luck, and hang in there!

Go to some peaceful place , picnic spot , with your family members or close friends. Try to find what is causing you this uncertainity and restlessness. Deep in your mind some problem is embedded which may be causing you anxiety. The best answer is diversion. For that you need to relax, read some good books, go to some soothing places etc. Above all. have confidence. You shall overcome this temporary phase. All the best.

hey...1st of all you must relax from your thinking. stop thinking. Start yoga. It would give you more cofidence. This kind of situation you are now is quite natural as you are in teen age probably. You may consult a homeo pathy doctor for a side effect free medicine for your relaxation. Probably you have to identify your self where you are, what are your circumstances. Go back for a couple of months, findout any one disturbed you? beleave your decission. Take help of any friend or contact sukhdeepak@sukhdeepak.com
