Social Science - 25 September 2006

A friend and i have the conversation sometimes....i have decided that if someone were a major drain on the resources of a community and contributes nothing at all to the progress and only depletes those resources...then it should be okay to kill them if they allow it...if you have the ability to do hand to hand combat...and thye lose then they neither lived a life that contributes nor had the strength to defend thier way of life....if they were able to defend thier way of life then of course allow them to do that....survival of the fittest and all....if i personally were a drain on my family and loved ones then i would feel like a burden and have no self respect as a human at all....i am not crazy nor sadistic...just logical....society should be a game of gains and losses...to provide a better future for our posteririty then we have to eliminate the present problems....give me your thoughts please...and examples if you agree.

I seldom go to operas. Tears came down last night soon as the overture of Le Nozze Di Figaro started. I am not familiar with the tunes from the opera. Why did that happen? There doesn't seem to have any known reason behind. It's just like a reflex.

The other day I spilled some cereal on my way out to work, and when I came home, all I saw was mice all over. I threw cereal at them to scare them away, but more and more came out. So, I kept throwing cereal, and even more came out after that. Now my house is full of mice. Whats going on with that?

i think no at least in italy who has talent not always has success but the unables has what they want often..too often.....it's unjust but this is..
and i think about famous artists of the past (for example van gogh).. he had a great talent but no fame...and now instead the people fight to have his works...PS: sorry for my english but i'm italian

My girlfriend and i were together for two years we were friends before and i love her very much, the problem is she dosent espress her self emotionally or verberally verry well. I am the ont that has to say i love you or put my arms around her and even cuddle she never makes the first move, she said she wasen't raise that way and her mother never said i love you. that being said i feel like i am the only one in the relationship and her inactions is making me feel like she dosent care help what should i do i really really love her but i dont want to be in a relationship where i feel like the person dosent care about i'm not that desperate, there is a whole lot more but in a nutshell ( its like she is trying to find herself, she is always trying to please people, doing what she thinks will make them happy, and takes thing very personally) my question is I am not worry about her leaving me i am worry that i will reget not trying harder should i give it one more go?

This is not a question posed to cause offence, but one of many we are required to investigate as part of our university induction.

Whats required is wether or not we think it relates to psychology.

I personally feel it relates to various topics including developmental psychology and sociology combined.

Its a serious enough question and one that I would be grateful for intelligent feedback and constructive comments.

I quit school 5 years ago...go back to take a course...
I can not remember my abilities in recalling,focusing and most of all i feel insecure and bad when i try to withdraw from people around me to study...
schedules make me nervouse about time limiting cuz i dun trust my self in how long does that page needs....
I also have trouble in learning by heart......
I burn my mind thinking about such a thing.....
I jus do not know why i act like this......I delay too much things, i do not think seriously about my own...I'm negative person who is closed to her self from people from my social phobia and getting hurt or cheated on me.
It's miserable:-(
Sometimes i do not fulfill my needs...cuz i think there not important to me...even sex. I'm frustrated about this issue.
